The best anime in the universe just got to it's end yesterday.

Now is the time to remenisce, discuss, and wibble on this show. And force all those who haven't got around watching it to doing so, of course.

In case you were living under a rock that is smelly and damp, here is what you need to know is here (or, hell ask away):

But basically Gurren Lagann is what an anime producer at the top of its talent and animation game does when they want to do the ULTIMATE ROBOT CARTOON.

And if you like paying money for the joys of watching a thing on your television, ADV have the Gurren Lagann license. So they will release the DVD's. Someday.

I just finished watching episode 27 a little while ago. Great, fun series.

Good characters (I surprisingly liked Leeron the most) awesome music and crazy-a** fight scenes.

I'm not really gushing over it persay, but bear in mind over the past few years I've gotten really tired of "anime" in general. Yet I watched about 15 episodes in a row the other night.

I could have done without all the politic crap around the middle though.

Also, Yoko is a Vespa woman. Hah.

This is probably the greatest show of the year. It's certainly gained quite a fanbase. DVDs are a yes when they come out.

Well, Gurren Lagann makes Gao Gai Gar looks like the metaphorical granny... where GGG takes 26 episodes just to arrive to a point where it's not excruciating Monsture-of-the-Day fighting, Gurren Lagann tells two ********' amazing story arcs in that same period of anime watching.
