I would wish to name mine: Peregrine After the Peregrine Falcon. here are some fast facts about the Peregrine Falcon for you to read: This is the fastest bird on record when in diving posture, called a stoop, at 175 mph or more.
These falcons were given Endangered Species status after decimation of the population from exposure to DDT in insecticides. A successful recovery effort resulted in removal from the U.S. list in 1999.
The Latin name “peregrinus” means “coming from foreign parts” which is fitting because they have one of the longest migrations of any North American bird.
They can live as long as 20 years, although 7-15 years is more common.

Thank you for this story.
I moved this thread here because this is the place for such stories. wink
Well, on the other hand, this is not really a fiction, is it? But other pigeon stories are here, so let's leave your post here.

I do not have a carrier pigeon, I have a Red Dragon named Starfire. Her is her and my story. :
I am Tatyana, a Blue Fairy, Queen of the Fairies. I found Starfire as I was wondering in the wood one day. She was sitting next to her shell crying for her mother, she had justed hatched. I had found a deceased female dragon earlier that had been killed. So I adopted her and named her Starfire due to a star shaped marking on her forehead. I have seen to her care since that day, Starfire is now 5years old and has developed her flame. She delivers all my messages, but is also my guard. Starfire loves attention and is extremely sweet and gentle. But be warned that if someone attacks me or my followers, Starfire will attack with her entire being.
