Welcome to my poetry contest!! About: In this contest, you will be given two or three pictures to choose from, and then you must write a poem about that picture. It does not have to deal directly with what is shown, but I have to be able to tell which picture you've chosen by your work!! If you wish to use more than one picture in your poem, that is fine.
Deadline: All entries must be posted by October 19, at 9:00 PM Central time. If you post anything after that, then I cannot accept it. I may be a bit late closing it, but I will not be early!!
Prizes: 1st place will get 500 gold, 2nd place will get 300 gold, and 3rd place will get 150 gold. If I give out honorable mention, the prize will be 50 gold. If we do not get more than 7 contestants, I may not give out three places...I'll stick to one or two. If there are a lot of entries, or if I get donations, the prizes will go up.
To enter: The entry fee is 50 gold (since I'm usually broke) so you need to send me a trade clearly stating that it's for the contest! I don't want there to be any confusion on this!! If you submit two poems, you must pay the entry fee for each poem.
Then, PM a copy of your poem to me, with a note about which picture you have chosen. Lastly, post your poem here!
NOTE: If you do not PM your poem to me, I will assume you did not read the rules and you will be disqualified.
Rules: I am not going to post a length requirement, so you can do anything from a haiku to a saga, as long as it has to do with one of the pictures in the next post!! All works sumbitted need to be PMed to me and posted here, so I don't miss anyone! Also, follow Annetia's rules about swearing and whatnot, you guys know the drill!
I will allow two entries per person, and you cannot do the same picture twice.Good luck!!!

These are the pictures you are to base your poem(s) on. Feel free to be creative, I love being surprised!! As long as it's vaguely connected to the picture, I'll probably accept it. Just make sure I can tell which picture you're talking about! xd  Reflection Chains Mysterious

YAY!! i got one done!! i did it really quickly so it's not really good, but I'm gonna make the other one better. I will go make another...there goes more gold!! lol
