xD I guess the question becomes "Who doesn't play Hey Baby?"
I'm still not sure what my favorite song was. I'm watching a video of one of my favorites on my band's website right now.

Land of 1000 is my favorite stand tune, i also like Hang on Sloopy(i think that song is just an Ohio song because of TBDBITL.), but as far as my 4 years of marching probably.. either the Pirates show this year, or Conga. Gloria Estefan weee.

Heh, we play Land of 1000 Dances, too. We even made up words to it, instead of the Na, Na, Na, stuff. It just a little fast for my liking. Sometimes, I can't finger fast enough to hit all the notes.

hmmm...i may be kind of odd, but i don't really like hey baby, that is, because i can't play it. I like the ballad and the closer [even though we can't play it] we play for show...and i guess the opener.
opener::Throwdown ballad::Concierto De Aranjuez closer: surprised ne more time, Chuck Corea
of the stands tunes we play, i'd have to say i like the Horse the most.
eeek. we have competition on saturday. we already know we're getting third...out of three. and we have fba mpa's next week, and a cometition in orlando the week after that. eeek.

My favorite would have to be a tie between Evil Ways and Los Cuervos just plain like the jazzy feel of Evil Ways and it's an easy song to put emotion into the playing and for Los Cuervos like the excitement it creates as it starts slow and ends up fast at the end but the best part is the woodwind solo in the middle of the song which being a clarinet player i think we deserve a chance to show them what we got biggrin

LAND OF A THOUSAND DANCES!!!! the trombone part is AMAZING. it's all eighth notes, at a really fast tempo (ha ha I forget the tempo...it is different depending on who is directing...if it were me...it would be cut time) from B flat to C....it is AMAZING!

Right now we're playing "Pirates of the Carribian, at World's End" in concert band, and its amazing! It's pretty hard because almost the whole song is in triplets, but once you get the hang of the beat its not too bad.
We all literally cheered when our directors were passing them out.
