Well, since Theron Aldebrew was the first to request to be tested, he shall be the first to be tested on Gler's list!

OKAY! SO! You want to be a Swamp Master, is that correct? I'm pretty sure that's a yes, if Gler's memory serves right....
THE ARENA: A smoothed, concrete tile platform, about 50x50 square, in the middle of a field. This field, is very conflicting. On one half of it, lies a vast, windy field, the long grasses growing upon it are blown hither and thither by the strong winds, but.... on the other half of the field, the air is deathly still, as it looms over putrid, festering marshlands. The transition is quite startling at a glance.
RULES FOR BATTLE:
1. Gaia TOS, obviously.
2. No god-modding, which includes the following:
a. No invincibility.
b. No chains of perfect dodges, as in, one right after another.
c. You don't have enough power to lift an entire swamp and throw it on someone.
d. Know your limits. It'd be physically impossible to get back up after you have a shattered leg, 12 broken ribs, damage to your spine, a concussion and cuts everywhere.
e. Any other cheap maneuver that Gler forgot to put in.
3. There is a limit on your magical power. Masters obviously have a lot more than normal users, but even Masters can run out of energy too.
4. Please use good grammar, and try to spell right. Using "u" and "r" and "i" will count against you.
5. Gler is the only one at a Master level on this field, which means, you currently do not have the strength of a Master yet, but you are pretty far up there, if you are testing for Master.
That should do it for now! Hopefully Gler wont have to add anything to this.

The winds kicked up, flowing over the arena, as Gler descended. Slowly falling, Gler threw off his cape, and let it fly freely away...
His boots clicked upon the ground as he gracefully landed. Brushing imaginary dust off his arms, then crossing them, Gler awaited the contestant. It had been a while since Gler had tested someone for a Master position, so he hoped that he wasn't rusty... Gler didn't plan on going easy.

From the shadows of the swamp Theo slowly emerged. The mist dissipated giving Gler a clear view of Theo. As Theo got closer to the arena he jumped into the air and landed perfectly on his feet his cape still attached to him. "So, you are the one who will be testing me huh?" he grinned. He got into a fighting stance and slowly closed his eyes. The marsh around him was pulsating around him as they slowly responded to his aura. "Ready when you are!" he raised his eyebrow in determination.

With an almost serious tone, Gler said, "Good. Let us begin, then."
Gler stuck out his right hand, palm open, and facing Theo. A brief pause, as Gler stared at Theo, sizing him up. Winds briefly, for a fraction of a second, swirled around him, almost in a suction motion towards his palm, then from his palm erupted a ball of wind, seeking to hit Theo's chest. Gler always overestimated his opponents, so he didn't expect this move to give Theo much trouble. Gler took a few steps back to see how he would react...

Surprised at the ball of air shooting towards him, he got into action and waved his hand in a rising motion. Some of the Swamp plants responded and grew in front of him. The plants absorbed most of the blow and crumbled. Some of the force slipped through the cracks catching Theo by surprise.
"What?!?" he gasped as he tried dodging, the somewhat powerful gust skidded past his arm tearing cape a little.
"I see, now that I know what I'm dealing with I won't let you catch me off guard again!" he smiled and lifted both of his arms and pushed forwards, then, from the swamp rose two pillars of sludge and they shot towards Gler, aiming for his feet.
"Let's see you move when your covered in sludge!" Theo ran towards Gler, hidden behind the entwining pillars of sludge.

Gler leapt into the air, curling his feet under him. He shuddered to think of how he would get the sludge stains out of his clothes if it ever got to him... Gler pushed both of his hands downwards, shoving air at the pillars of sludge, pinning it to the ground. The force of this caused Gler to fly backwards, and to do a flip or two in the air. He broke out of the flip, and flew right, being lifted up by the power of the winds. He flew around the oncoming pillars to find Theo.

"Damn!" Theo shouted as he looked in the skies. "The sun is too bright" he complained, he then ran back towards the swamp-like terrain. Theo then lifted his hand as the sludge and weeds from the swamp formed a cannon. "Fire!" he yelled, and aimed towards the sky. Spheres of swamp water exploded in the sky, and clouds started to form. "Ah... much better" he smiled.

Gler skidded to a halt in mid-air as the cannon shots were fired. He flinched, as if he were about to be hit by the shots, but instead....
Darkness. The rookie had made clouds to blot out the sun. Gler was glad he wasn't a Light user... Either way, Gler didn't want such filth in his air.
"Boy, you don't seem to realize that it is I who rules the air, and that includes what's in it!!" Gler raced upwards, hands in front of him. He stopped before the clouds of filth. His hands started to glow slightly. Winds kicked up in a hurry, in a northernly direction. They were slowly blowing awayf the clouds, as Gler descended again, firing more wind balls at Theo, this time with explosive power. (No, they don't explode on impact, they just sound like cannon shots coming from Gler's hand.)

Gler halted, again in mid-air. "Okay, fine.... you want clouds? I'll get you clouds..." Gler ascended again, this time much higher. By this time the dirty clouds had passed. After he got to a decent hieght, he outstretched his arms again, this time they glowed brightly, a gray-ish color. Gler seemed to strain a little as he did so... he was calling upon some much stronger things than dirty clouds...
Quickly, large, thunderous clouds emerged from the horizon. Slowly, they loomed over the battlefield, casting the land in shadow. The dark, gray, enormous clouds rumbled every so often. Gler had brought a storm into battle...
As the cloud passed overhead, Gler flew back down to the Ice user and the Swamp user. He landed again, sighed, and asked, "That better?"

"Damn!" Theo yelled, I'll be vulnerable in the storm if a bolt of lightning struck the swamp. "How cheap of you, I expected better from a master!" he waved his finger towards Gler. Theo laughed. "I see how it is," he looked up into the sky as his eyes closed his hands sticking from his sides. He started to float a little as if he was an air user as well, but as he flew higher, it became easy to notice a mountain of sludge rising underneath him. "If you want to run away in the skies, so be it!" The top of the pile of sludge was solid yet the rest maintained some water allowing it to grow. Theo stomped his foot so hard he left a dent in the dry muck. "One cannon may not work... but how about some scatter fire!" Globs of mud shot from the mountain of sludge beneath Theo and it instantly filled back up with more sludge. The globs shot everywhere in around him, and as the flew through the air, they dried up into what seemed like boulders. "Deflect this with your wind!" he chuckled as he moved around the air on a trail of sludge. (Don't worry the sludge can't take him everywhere... only as far as the swamp area goes.)

Gler scoffed at Theo's remark. Gler just... outdid himself, that's all.... >.>
Gusts kicked up, blowing at Theo. This, though, did not stop the bullets of hardened sludged whizzing at Gler. He advanced at Theo, trying to dodge some of them. They whizzed past him, slicing some of his clothes, tearing his skin. He broke free of the assault, and began firing as well. As Gler strafed to the right, he drew in closer, firing many balls of wind at Theo.

Theo swiftly evaded the blows, but his pillar didn't. The ball of air stuck into the middle of the pillar and shattered it as Theo fell towards the floor. "Damn!" he yelled as he waved his hand. The plants of the swamp responded, forming a bed below him. The bed softened the blow but Theo still took in some considerable amount of damage. "Ugh, thats the last time I do that against a wind master," he scratched his head in embarrassment. "Ugh, what?" he gasped as he looked towards his left arm, no response. "Damn, whats going on?" he yelled as he touched his arm. "Argh!" he yelled in anguish, his arm was broken. "Hmph, I'm in a bit of a bind. At least my right hand is all right!" Theo rose his right hand and threw it to his side as the swamp engulfed his arm forming a extended somewhat liquid, arm of sludge. He waved his arm in the air and treated the arm as a whip as he lashed it towards Gler. "I'm not going down without a fight!" he yelled,

"I was hoping you'd say that...." Gler said, as he stopped in mid-air. With a regal grace, he extracted from its sheath, his sword, which shined a sky blue. Gler sliced the air with the sword. The speed of the sword generated a blade of wind, which flew at Theo. This, however, was just a warning shot, as Gler flew right after the blade, his sword ready to strike.
Going into more detail, this sword is a semitar, crafted of a lightweight, sky-blue steel, roughly 2 3/4 feet long. It's decorated with gusts of wind, and at the end of the hilt, is tied a long, snow-white feather. It is said to be the feather of an angel...
This sword was now readying itself to be plunged into sludge and decayed plant matter...

Theo gasped at the blade of wind coming towards him and dodged it at the last minute, some of his hair being cut by the blade of wind. The wind cut into the swamp with massive force causing the swamp to explode, as the water sprinkled and calmed, all one could see was a thick mist. Using the cover to his advantage, Theo slammed his available arm into the muck forming multiple clones around him. Each of them looked the same as Theo as he now is covered in the muck himself. I can use this to my advantage. Theo thought to himself, "Guess who's who?" he said where ever he moved slowly, hoping not to get noticed as he trailed far from the swamp-like area filled with muck and into the thicket of the swamp where the shrubbery hid him. All I have to do is wait...
