So... the raw has just come out. What thinks you, Freefallian? I'm still in shock.
Discuss:
Will Ed and Al live? If so, how are they going to get out of this one?
Where the hell are all those chimeras comming from?
Kimblee: Is he really still human, or has the philosoper's stone turned him into something else?
Speaking of Kimblee, where did he dissapear to?

 {Forgiven I am not ; Even when my heart stops.}This chapter terrified me. ;.; It came as a shock, even though I knew what was going to happed from a spoiler preview. I can't stop staring at that scene. D:
Let's see...
Will Ed and Al live? If so, how are they going to get out of this one? -
I'm pretty sure they'll live, but I have no clue how. o.o

He's always been inhuman to me, in the way he acts. Maybe he'll reveal the things Ed wanted him to soon.
Speaking of Kimblee, where did he dissapear to? -
It all happened so fast, he could have jumped out of the way and ran, or he could be hiding in the mine somewhere.

Hey guys, let's discuss how Ed's gonna survive this. Like, do you think someone is going to come to his rescue?
In the last speak bubble, someone screams "Ed!" Who was it? It seams like it was probably Winry, but it's possible there is another party in the picture.
Some theories about who may save Ed:
Ed - Edo-kun will save himself.
Winry - She's just outside of town, will she use her knowledge of metal and medicine to help Ed? Will his love for her pull him back?
Marcoh and/or Mei - They know alchemy that heals and they're just outside of town.
Kimblee - He just killed one of Father's major human sacrafices. Will he have to suck it up and save Ed in order to save his own skin?
Hohenhiem and/or Izumi - He's the philosopher's stone and she has kick-a** alchemic powers. They both seam like there're somewhere north. Is it possible they were close by to the explosion?

At the state he's in, I don't think Ed can save himself. Sure, he's been through what some could consider worse, but I don't think he can pull that pole out of himself, or drag himself (with pole still inside him) out of there.
While it'd make for some good Edwin anguish-filled fluff, I don't think Winry can save him. She has no clue what just happened, and she also has Al to worry about at the moment.
Hohenhiem/Izumi aren't even near them, are they? With all the blood Ed is losing, they probably wouldn't make it in time. But maybe Hoho can save his son later, like heal him after he's been found or something along those lines?
I like the idea of Kimblee saving Ed just to save his own hide. But, Kimblee's a complex character; he could go against everything just to watch Ed suffer and die.
There's my two cents about that. I'm worrying too much. D': [}{]

Uh huh. I'm worried too. I think the possiblity that Hoho may heal his son later is a good one. I'd never thought of it before.
I think if Kimblee saves Ed, he'd make sure the rescue was painful as possible.

I think that, with things are as they are, Ed's going to inevitably die, yet come back to life somehow. Even if someone did come in time, removing the pole would make things worse and kill him quicker because that'd leave a nice gaping hole for organs to fall out of.

A'ight, I got caught up with the series, since I heard a lot of hooplah over this chapter.
WTFFFFFFFFFF.
My thoughts are that Ed and Al will meet up at the Gate, and find out some way of getting his body back. Either that, or Truth will somehow get something more from them by selling them back their lives...? I dunno, just my hypotheses.
I'm not an Ed fangirl anymore, and I still can't stand EdWin. So if that's how they come back, I'll be disappointed. Severely.
But I like the idea of HoHo saving them biggrin
Or they could both just die, and Roy/Riza and Ling/RanFan can happen in the remaining chapters. I do love a good tragedy.

I somehow can't picture Arakawa-sensei completely killing Ed off like that for good though.
I don't really care who saves Ed as long as it's done and done well (as in drawn/written well).

The most effective way to save Ed would be Scar to destroy the piece of metal and fight off Kimblee, possibly destroying them both. Dr. Marcoh to use the Philosopher's stone in Edward's hand to heal Ed. And Winry to patch up the wound and possibly bring Ed back from the verges of death by screaming at him or something.
Thats just my theory.
It doesn't look like Hoho and Izumi(and Sig!) are up north to me.

Ehehe, I kinda forgot about this chapter. I downloaded it and left it sitting on my harddrive for two days before finally reading it. Needless to say, I was startled at the end but Ed and Al will survive. Hopefully. sweatdrop
