I havent tried online yet, but people keep telling me i should, I dont know if i should do it or not. Hack items are common online but, i dont want one, I saw my friend who used to play online with a chao mag that had nearly 800 in every stat, i hate hacking, but i want to go online with honest players

Well you'll have to find out for your self. It's your choice to go online or not you can't always listen to people sometimes.
People told me not to go to PSO v2 back on in Dreamcast days it was more hack down then GameCube PSO ever was.
You had the Nol code to watch for. Frozen Screen Of Death. Dreamcast memory card wape basicly not only your pso data was gone but your other games on dc were too.
Let's see you had Dreamcast Bio kill code, I'm not sure if that was real or not but i wasn't gonna find out.
Anyway even after all that i still went on Dreamcast PSO and had a blast!
I still say my Dreamcast days were better then GameCube PSO days even tho Gc/Xbox PSO is better game then Dreamcast PSO but liked my Dc Friends 10 times better then my Gc Friends no a fense Gc friends lol
But you have to go online and find out for your self if you wanna go there or not.
I'm to legit the bone even with all the hacks out there i still play online.
I say a person that use hacks has no skill in pso what so ever and cheated the game.
That's Right hackers SonicTeam really don't like you guys out there hacking the game so many times untill they just give up on fixing and patching servers cause it seems like a new code was out soon as SonicTeam patch the servers.
And the people that cheat on Ep3 i have nothing to say to you but... You Guy's Suck! Have to cheat a freakin card game to win or to best someone that's just low... Of topic sorry... lol Anyway i'd say go for it maybe hack but you'll find some legit players out and besides Gc PSO my be hacked but least it's not bad as Dc PSO hacks.
Warning if you do go online and like it you will never enjoy offline mode again!

Sorry for necro-ing this post, but you could always play the PC version, Blue Burst. Sure, there is hacking, but you won't loose you chara and/or items because of it.

It only takes 808MB space so far, but alas, your call whee This is the first chance I managed to go online with PSO ^o^ Plus ep4 is interesting to play as well, with the whole new enemies, mainly showing up in mobs.
Well, I'm off. Mag is hungry again. The never ending circle whee

im going online at christmas time, ill join you if i find you. if you want to find me, ask for the head A.N.B.U. (A.N.B.U. is an organization ment for helping begining players who are online. PM me if you have any questions about it)
Note: A.N.B.U. is not associated with Sonic Team or Sega. We are just normal players wanting to help. A.N.B.U. will start when I get a modem for my GC.
