 One night as you lie awake in your bed, unable to sleep for reasons unknown, you hear a melody coming from what seems to be no where; "Come to me children and follow my way
Into the world of darkness and magic
With all my power I'll show you the way
To all your dreams, hopes and illusions."As the song comes to an end your eyes close and you fall into a deep sleep. When you awake you are no longer in your bed, instead you are laying in the next to a tall black Gate. Beyond the gate you see what you think is some kind of city. Where in the world are you, you ask? Well you'll have to find that out on your own. Plot-over the past years several children have gone missing, some of them never to be seen again. Other come back but their attitudes have completely changed. The place where they go is Called 'Abekobe'. Abekobe is a alternate universe. A way to imagine it is as a mirror, the normal universe is on one side and the alternate one, full of strange creatures and demons, is on the other. You will been one of the ones pulled into the opposite universe. When you awake you find you have gone through several changes, maybe you grew wings or some kind of animal ears, or maybe you acquired some amazing power. Are you scared? or are you happy to get away. Either way you find yourself wanting to track down the one who brought you here. Only those who can find her can return to their world. Disclaimer: I know the Melody up there is from a real song, no need to tell me

Setting-
This world is very dark and dreary, Its full of Shinigami, demons, and many other creature. The gate that you wake up at leads to a city. This world doesn't have as many technologies as the one you came from.
There are several forest, lakes,swamps, and anything else that a habitat needs.

Personality: Rika has a personality that allows her to openly express anything she is thinking without thought of whether or not her words will hurt those around her. In other words, she is blunt when honest. Most of the time she is kind to those she knows, but she has a devious side to her personality that tends to get her into trouble from time to time. Coy and charming, she doesn't come off a child at all, emotionally or physically. A bit untrusting of those around her when she doesn't know them, but once her trust is gained She is very Clingy
Bio: Rika's Family is from Wales, A small country just under Britannia. Her family only recently moved to Japan because of her fathers work and she's still trying to get used to it. She also have a strong British accent.
Her family is also fairly wealthy, though Rika is not the type to act Rude and snobby, in fact she hates people like that. She gets in a lot of fights with her parents because they are so open and love bragging about being rich. She is obviously happy to get away from them, but she would rather like to know where in the world she is.

Bio: Kyosuke is pretty normal. There wasn't anything that was realy out of the ordinary about his until he went to school. He started displaying above average intelegence and skipped almost every third grade. He was olny fourteen when he graduated from highschool and he was happy to be gone from there because he got bullied constantly. When the kids started picking on him around town though he started taking self-defence classes and he shot through the ranks with unusual speed. In olny two and a half years he had a third degree blackbelt and olny let his friends make fun of him cause he knew that they didn't mean it. A year later he went off to college to study sound manipulation because he was always intrested in making things seemingly explode at 'random'.
Changes: After he crossed over the gate he found that he hadgained Rabbit ears and enhanced hearing. He found that he could also create and manipulate sound waves and could use them as a potent weapon.

Personality: Introverted and horribly shy whenever she sees anyone she doesn't know.
Bio: Marina's parents were constantly fighting with each other and ended up divorcing when she turned 10 years old. After that, she ended up living with her mother in a new home far from her original one. She was so depressed that she stopped talking and started dressing in nothing but black. Soon after her room was painted black. Marina started writing dark poetry and drawing morbid characters and situations. Her mother, attempting to get Marina to start socializing with people more, got a computer and scanner for her as well as other electronics she could use for communication. Marina has become very reliant on technology.
Changes: Marina found herself in completely different clothes and with wolf ears and tail when she crossed the gate. Her senses (smell, sight, hearing) were heightened to that of a wolf's and her balance and agility improved, but she isn't very used to it at all. (Picture of Marina after passing the gate.)

Personality: She is kind, sweet, and thoughtful. She is very outgoing and loves meeting new people. Bio: She was abandoned at a very young age. She wasn;t loved. So she decided that she was going to find love without making someone love her. That she was going to love people and hopfully they would love her back. Appearance: picture here ^^ Other: She loves to sing and she wings change colors depending on her mood.

Rika sat staring at her ceiling. her arms crossed, and her head resting on them. She let out a long sigh. "what in the world was that song?" she asked aloud. She shrugged and rolled over, curling up into a ball. At least I'm tired now.. She thought as her eyes got heavy and started to close.
When Rika awoke she found her self now laying on the ground. She sat up and looked around, turning her head rapidly and her eyes darting all around. "where...." She looked at the large gate in front of her and back up on the ground. "where in the world Am I?!" she half yelled standing up. She looked down at herself to see that she had her cloths on. She hadn't gone to bed with them on so why where they there. She stood there looking bewildered. Holding her tie tightly in her hands out of nervous habit.

Kyosuke sighed. He was nowhere near done with his report, and it would take him another day at this rate. He marked his books, put his stuff away, and flopped down on his bed. He rolled around a little to get comfortable and was asleep almost instantly.
He streched alittle and yawned as he woke up. Still half asleep he walked over to the gate thinking that it was the bathroom but when he couldn't find the door handle he got a little worried. Did that jackass slip me something again, or am I just realy sleepy? A couple of seconds later he was more awake and looked around more worried then he was earlier. "Great, where am I now? Did they decide to kidnap me again? I swear, when I go insane their gonna be the first three I take out."

Rika slumped back down to the ground trying to asses the situation. "so I fell asleep...and woke up here" She shook her head. none of this made any sense to her. This place felt 'differen't' then the atmosphere around her house, darker is any thing. She put her hands on her head and looked up at the sky. "what the Hell?!" she said in a squeaky frustrated, heavy British accent. She stood up and looked at the gate. Someone was standing next to it. She started to walk towards them but stopped Nervous to approach them. She shifted from foot to foot, arguing with herself in her mind, whether she should go ask him if they knew where they were.

Kyosuke turned to look at the source of the loud noise and was slightly suprised to find a girl. He scratched his cheek and raised an eyebrow before he spoke, "So I've never seen you around campus, did those three bafoons 'kidnap' you too, or am I just insane already?" He used 'air quotes' when he said the word kidnap so the girl wouldn't be so worried mostly because he wasn't very good at calming people down, and had a even more trouble with girls because he always seemed to say something that offended them or got him in trouble.

Rika looked at him, her head tilted and a puzzled expression on her face. "campus? Kidnap?" She thought about this for a second.
"Im afraid I have no idea what your talking about."
she looked at him with a crooked frown. She had always been home schooled, and planned on collage after the summer was over. Then..where did he come from she thought once again bewildered.

"Well, I guess I am going insane then..." Kyosuke started pacing back and forth thinking out loud. "Either that or I'm having a realy weird dream, I hope it's the second one because I'd rather not have to live in an insane aslyum and wear a straight jacket for the rest of my life." He continued like this for about a minute before he finaly stopped. Then he turned so he was facing the gate. "But the question is, what the heck is this thing? It's to big to be the wall unless I'm outside, and how did the... What's the word I'm loking for... Ah, ambience, yes, how did the ambience get like that."

Marina sat in front of her computer, checking her messages on the art site she frequently visited for the fourth time that day. They'd never talk to me in the real world, but this virtual community can be kind when they see the true meaning in my poetry...typical. Hearing some music faintly, she found that she was getting more and more tired. What is this...? She felt like she was falling onto the keyboard in front of her and blacked out before feeling any impact.
As she sat up, she rubbed her head gently. Why was I so tired? Her eyes widened as she felt something on her head. What the...fur!? Marina shook her head quickly and stumbled to her feet and instantly felt as if she were in different clothes and stopped. When she looked down, she seemed puzzled. I never changed! What's going on here!?
