It's finally here! I had to run out and get it as soon as I got home from school. I'm impreesed they were able to get something out so fast.
But what does everybody think???? Share with us your thoughts: did you like it?, fave song?, are you gunna put the poster up on your wall?
Personally, I'm not sure what to think of it just yet. I can really tell that Patrick produced it, it just has his vibe. I definatley need to hear it a few more times before I make any decisions. If I had to pick a fave song, it'd have to be 'Prostitution is the Worlds Oldest Profession (and I, Dear Madame, Am a professional)' but thats just my first thought. At this point if I had to choose I'd say the first one was better, they definatly took it in a different direction. It's very dance club-ish. I'm not really sure if I like it or not just yet, I really need to hear it more.

I pretty much already posted my thoughts on it in a different thread... but oh well xp
I absolutely love it. So so so much. I really like Drop My Sass and My Moves Are White (White Hot, That Is) and also Prostitution is the Worlds Oldest Profession (and I, Dear Madame, am a Professional) but really I like every single song. I can just listen to the whole album over and over without ever wanting to skip a song.
Every time I hear any of the songs I just wanna dance heart
I haven't gotten my actual CD yet. I can't wait for it to arrive. I probably won't hang up the poster, I'm not sure yet. I have this thing about CD booklets being sacred... I didn't hang up the poster-thingy from While The Sleeps, We Rule The Streets. But I sometimes want to xp

I'm in love with Prostitution is The World's Oldest Profession (And I, Dear Madame, am a Professional); Smile for the Paparazzi; && Damn You Look Good And I'm Drunk (Scandalous).
:'D
But the whole CD's great. Actually all the songs are wonderful. <3 When I listen to it, none of the songs are worthy of being skipped.
I'm not hanging up my poster also. DD: I also have this weird fetish of thinking that CD booklets are sacred, just like what Poly said. >_______< Plus, I'm a TOTAL perfectionist when it comes to my CD colection that all the booklets and covers HAVE to be in it. I know, I'm pretty much a freak.
[/loser]
But I do hope that they have a bigger, hangable poster for sale soon.
:'D

I'm really OCD when it comes to music. Every song in iTunes has to have all the information filled in properly, with lyrics and artwork. And I don't let iTunes organize my music files because it doesn't do a good job! xp I have a "Music" folder on my computer, with hundreds of subfolders per artist, and then all the albums...
I wouldn't mind a big Cobra Starship poster either.. I already have some Cobra stickers on my wall though. And a photo of Gabe from during Decaydance, and a photo of me and him...
Oh and the little merchandise advertisement thingy that came with WTCS,WRTS...

I love the whole CD heart heart heart . Although, is it just me, or do you get the feeling that some of the songs are about Ashlee? I mean, the Jessica Simpson reference in Smile for the paparazzi was kiiinda hard to notice, but you'd have to know what he's talking about to get it.
my sister and I think that most of the songs on there reference ashlee (and not in a good way). xD especially the part in Smile for the paparazzi when he says "get off my jock" (since we all know that pete was jock..xD).
Just our opinions, though!

I didn't notice that at all. Why would Cobra Starship sing about Ashlee Simpson? sweatdrop

Well, she was with them on the Honda Civic Tour, and it was just something that my sister pointed out - they wrote most of the songs while on tour.
Plus we've got no real idea who Patrick feels about her, so maybe this was an outlet for him as well.
I DUNNO, but..xD just listen. It's interesting.

You never know. I really can feel the influence of all the bands they were on tour with in the album. Maybe it wasn't only the musical influences that they borrowed but also emotional feelings.

I don't really know anything about the Simpson sisters, so maybe that's why I don't see how any of the songs reference them...
& what do you mean "how Patrick feels about her"? sweatdrop She makes Pete happy and Pete's his probably best friend, so I'm just gonna assume Patrick likes her well enough. But whether he hates her or loves her, I think he's professional enough not to let that affect his music, especially if he's working on a different band's album because that's not really supposed to be an outlet for him...
sweatdrop I don't know.

I Still Haven't Been Able To Get It And I Won't Be Able To Get It Until After Christmas. My Parents Have This Whole Freeze Where After Halloween, No New Stuff Until After Christmas. It Sucks And No One Will Get It For Me As A Gift.
