 Synopsis:Kojirou is the kendo instructor at Muro'e High School. He is totally broke. He has agreed to send his team to a competition against his senpai's team. If his all female team can win the competition, he will have free meals for a year! But, the problem is that Kojirou seems unable to find five, gifted girls to form the "dream team"--and time is running out..Just wondering if anyone else has checked this out yet

I completely agree with this guy's comment I found about Tamaki
"I have been quite taken in by the character of Kawazoe Tamaki from Bamboo Blade.
I basically like how she’s quiet but not emotionless, that she’s not meant to necessarily evoke a sense of mystery unlike other quiet characters such as Yuki from Haruhi or Ruri from Nadesico. She’s a girl with simple words and simple needs. She loves her father, she loves making friends, and she has a strong sense of right and wrong reinforced by years of watching shounen anime.
She’s innocent, and even a litttle naive, but she’s not stupid. She’s adorable in a way that makes me want to be her friend too."

You should. The anime's not that bad either.
I guess Bamboo Blade's not that well known. Oh well. Must spread the awareness. lol

We're watching the anime in my school's Anime Club. It's alright. The plot itself isn't incredibly interesting, but the characters have been developing nicely.

Yeah, it's more of a character driven story, which if done well can be pretty awesome.
