All Gaia rules apply
Keep it PG-13
NO Godmodding
NO harassing others We've had problems...
EVERYONE is welcome
Romance is encouraged
Cybering is forbidden and frankly, just sad.

NO ONE IN THIS GUILD CLAIMS TO BE A REAL PSYCHIC. PLEASE DON'T HOLD THIS AGAINST US. I just don't want to cause trouble... sweatdrop

Also, if you plan to leave for a long period of time, let everyone know (or at least Fallen_Renegade) that you will be gone so people don't get mad that you're not posting. You can send this info in a pm to the captain or post it in the OOC thread.

Profile Setup

There are eight classes that your character can be. which are:
Psychomaster-extreme powers in psychic abilities. (Mind reading, mental defense, psychic weapons) See next post.

Pyromaster-Basically your fire man. You have the ability to control and produce flame. These people are very controlled by their emotions and only very controlled pyros can get mad and not set something on fire.

Hydromaster- Water abilities. They are calm and serene and usually very in tune with themselves. Can hear and/or send things via the water.

Floramaster- Power over the earth beneath you and the things that grow in it. Very lighthearted people; the floramasters are very foresty and usually not very kind to those who threaten the earth. Think hippies.

Aeromaster- Power over the weather. *shrugs* Also a very emotionally controlled power.

Telomaster- Powers in telekenisis and levitation. Also has the power to drain others powers. This class is almost the Dark Side of the psychics. Someone thusly gifted need emotional control, since the gift is very infused with strong emotions sometimes without the person knowing it.

Channelers- Psychic healing. They also act as mediums, and coupled with the right powers, can increase the power of another. Since these people are incredibly sensitive and susceptible to influences they cannot control, they must always be shielded. Sometimes a very powerful channeler can shield themselves, however, it is rare.

Chronomasters- This is a very touchy class. They are very rare, and have power over time. You must have special clearance from the captain and the Chronomaster mod to become one. PLEASE NOTE: Chronomasters have varying abilities and necromacy, fortune telling, memory sorting and otherwise are considered godmodding when in the wrong hands.

Psychic Abilities

These abilities, powers, and skills are not specific to one type of psychic.


Empathy

Empathy is like telepathy, but deals with emotions. The individual is either a sender empath or a receiver emapth. The sender is one who can project certain emotions out on another person or the general public, depending on the relative strength of the psychic. The sender is also usually not very emotional themselves, per se, because they rely on the reactioncs of others. In other words, cold. The receiver, on the other hand, can tune into the emotions and feelings of others and is thusly sensitive. They are prone to mood swings and being very in tune with everyone around them. (For Neko: Think Dr. Troi from ST TNG. ((I found someone making that analogy somewhere^^ It works!)) )

Psychometry

This is the ability to see/hear/feel things from an object. This is usually used in accordance with the following "Clair gifts."


Clairvoyance ( seeing )

this is hard to control, and should not be done when operating heavy machinery. the person can see things from the past, or the future, and usually experiances fogginess about things...

Clairaudience (hearing)

These people can hear things form far away, even from the dead.

Clairsentience (sensing)

These are the people who walk into a room and say something like: "Something dreadful happened here." Or "I just know this person has been here. I can feel it."

Catalyst Telepath

Think Jean Grey the Pheonix. These people can bring other people's gifts to light or, theoretically. block them. They know when someone else has gifts, and usually how strong those gifts are.


*These are gift descriptions that aren't mine, nor are very important in this environment, however I decided to add them for your reading pleasure.*

Grounder

Someone who grounds any energy sent their way. One can not work energy in circle with a grounder.

Null Field

Psychic gifts and energy go dead in the presence of a null field. Some of the most avowed skeptics are actually nulls, Gifts won?t work in their environment.

Dowsing

Sensing substances in the earth, like water, metals, also ley lines.

Bard Gift

The ability to utilize, increase, and return the energy of an audience such that their emotional states are altered to what the Bard is sending. In a strong Gift, the audience will see visions of the subject matter of the song or instrumental piece.
