Seriously, how do you find out if you are kin or not?And then what kin at that?I am not trying to convince myself that I am or am not kin;rather I am just the type of person that if I can't figure some certain things out,I go mad until I find the answer/solution.
So should I just meditate and hope something comes to me?Should I try aura viewing techniques?Should I study physical, mental, and emotional traits?
All I seek is an answer.
At times,if anything,I feel fox like.Cold, witty, often the wise one in the situation where everyone is immature, sarcastic(not fox like really but I guess it depends on your view of the "personality" of foxes),and physically well balanced(as in I don't fall easy). If this turned out to be relevant, what the heck would that make me?Would I be a fox?A were-kin?Some type of Japanese mythological Kitsune? In case ethnicity has anything to do with it,I am Spanish,American,Mexican, and Irish;or at least as far as I know.
Again,I am not trying to convince me or anyone of anything.I just really need to figure this little bugger of an ordeal out.

In my case... cases... I didn't really seek anything out until a second time around the first time (as in... twice started to believe) for more information, and then on a second subject tried to seek information when I had some suspicions on a hunch that I ended up with... sweatdrop
But, as for finding what you "are" inside... for me I sort of realized after letting things naturally come to me and I suppose understandably after the realization I denied it out of fear. This other time around it happened after I had read some things and talked with another person that claimed to be such only after I brought up the subject. Talking to him really heightened my mood in the mind. It felt great...

Dark_of_Niwa So you saying I should clear my mind and hope some clarification comes? I'm personally saying that it came on it's own with little to no effort on my part. Little being that I researched and seemingly found one aspect of myself... to no being that the one I have identified with (and denied for a period of three years in there) for eight years. A bit more detail... I identified as a dragon that long back unconsciously... when I became aware of it and could actually state in words what I thought... I denied it. The thoughts would still come... and that particular point in time when I decided to just fathom the idea it was getting insanely difficult to keep as I was... because of art assignments and a scrapbooking project that later the teacher said wasn't necessary. Ultimately a friend talking of reincarnation gave me the courage to just... accept it. As of recent I'm considering I might be kitsune because of research out of curiosity. I'm viewing both kitsune and dragons in the same light in terms of "like". Because I like tigers and lots of various animals... I like cats and dogs... I "like" dragons and kitsune. I mean in that I sometimes seek material involving them, but not out of just a general like. More of an affinity.

It is not who are you? -- but are you? - Timothy Findley, "Headhunter" Like I said,I am unsure if I even am kin. This thread was to ask for help for methods on figuring this ordeal out. So far,I haven't received an answers to help. And like aaarhus said,I 'like' multiple things so I really don't wanna try to decide on what I am because I might just pick something that I like more that the others. For example, while I was(and still trying to) figure out what my Spirit Guardian was,I kept thinking of hawks and foxes. So in other words,I want this insight to come as un-personally-biased as possible.

well... you could try taking a picture of yourself... if you focus on letting a lot of your energy leak out, it might be possible for some of us to see the spiritual structure of your Spiritual System in a picture. Maybe some might be able to tell you something from this which might inlighten you..

Every human is self-conscious... if humans weren't, they would be the same than every other animal... a beast..
I don't see how the fact that you are self-conscious make you unable to take a picture.

Not helpful...? sweatdrop
That is what has happened with me though... one part of myself came on it's own accord... I actually tried to distance myself from that. Another aspect came with research.
I guess one other thing I could say is don't pursue something just out of a want... otherwise you might think one thing and find out another.
