Eloise shuffled out of the dormitory, a sketchbook tucked under one arm. The dorr slammed begind her, even though it was not her hand that pushed it shut. Muffled cries issued from behind the closed door and a tinkling of breaking glass could be heard. Shaking her head, Miss Eloise gingerly sat down upon a stray cushion near the hearth and opened her sketchbook. Turning to a clean page, she took out a special pencil that she used for artwork and began to draw.
A slamming of a door and thud issued from the vicinity behind her, signifying the fact that Hannah Abbott had lost the mad dash toward the girl's bathroom to Susan Bones. It was always after Susan slammed the bathroom door in Hannah's face, did the loser of the battle take to kicking her trunk out of anger. Eloise, being an early riser, was thankful she could avoid this morning bathroom conflicts with her dormmates. They always escalated into severe brawls, especially when Megan Jones drank a lot of coffee before bed.

MORNING! Soon the common room was filled with groggy students stumbling out of bed, some standing by the fire some in couches or chairs trying to wake up. If they were hungry they went down to the great hall, and ate. Today was the last day of winter(or spring) break and so they had better do whatever it was they needed todo for fun.
