http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/It's an odd site that gives a new perspective on daemons and such. It's interesting to read to say the least. If you're a big researched of religions or interested in the main demons it's a good site, but they kind of talk bad about God once in a while, but not too much, just to warn you. But still interesting non the least. I just can't tell what religion it is. I was thinking Satanism, but tehy worship themselves, not have a demon guide, so maybe Daemonism, if there is such a thing? As I read the list of demons I am not to sure on their looks. They make them sound kind of like prissy wussy men. So many have long flowing hair. o.0... And Astaroth I know for sure it a guy... not a chick. :b It's still interesting to see their Sigils though. And some other information.

It's Satanism alright, but it's the Traditional kind; i.e., Theistic Satanism. And to be fair, I skimmed the site a little, it seems like Theistic Satanism on crack, bordering on the realms of fluffyness. Still, I'm bookmarking it, it seems pretty neat. Cheers for the heads-up!

Sadly, I can't give an in-depth review since I'm unfamiliar with theistic Satanism. However, I have to say that every time I see a satanic site with a black background and red text, I start to giggle a little. It just looks attention whorey to me. Of course, they may simply like the aesthetics of it. Or maybe they're just being considerate and trying to save me money on my energy bill ( explanation here). I read a bit in the section on demons. Some of it sounded interesting and potentially legit. Some of it had me raising my eyebrows. Can't say I've ever read anything about demonology, so I don't have a standard to go by, but the idea of demons being "ancient extraterrestrials who came to earth to mine for gold thousands of years ago" nearly made me snort my cider. In the end, I'd say it looks lik there's some good info and some weird pseudo-info. If you already have some knowledge of such things and can sort the useful stuff from the not-so-useful stuff, it could be a good resource.

But I know a good deal on demons, and lets just say not everyone is a pretty person and such, but still funny and a good reference to go off about what they reside over. But attention whore is definitely calling on some of the things. Theya ren't getting me precious blood! >o<

Demon is derived form the word daemon which were at first guardians of humans, but soon do to humans terrible reception, they began to call them demons for evil things and angels for good things.. Or something like that along the line. But demon is daemon. There are good and bad, just like angels. Just to throw that out there for my own opinion. I've know many that call themselves daemons, and demons.

babyXphantom PLEASE READ. Daemons were originally companion spirits. I've met many a so-called 'demon' who was not a companion to a human. Or to anyone else for that matter. :/ They don't have to be a companion. That's just how the Golden Compass presents them to be. Daemons were suppose to be helpers of humans to scholar them and such, not necessarily companions. The Golden Compass is only a story. Not all what they say is a 100% true.
