Welcome, one and all, to The Anti-Fangirl Guild Forum!
Our Story
For quite some time my friend ~*Blood Rose*~ and I had been annoyed with the hundreds of thousands of raving fangirls that flood Entertainment Discussion with their inane comments of, "OrLi iz HoTt!!11!!!", "LeGoLaZ iz tEh SeXoRz!!eleven", and other such pointless garbage that is, needless to say, disgusting.
That was when we decided to dedicate ourselves to mocking them mercilessly whenever we could. They proved to be easy targets. We would occasionally come across other people who were anti-fangirl, but they were few and far between. We decided that we needed a place we could go where the fangirl-haters could unite to share their stories, share their flames, and share whatever else they could. We needed a guild.
And so, the idea for the Anti-Fangirl Guild was born. ~*Blood Rose*~ and I held it on the backburner for a while, trying to figure out how we would find enough members to have it become an official guild.
That is when Andtalathiel came along and saved our Anti-Fangirl idea. She began a thread where people who didn't like Orlando Bloom could go to rant and discuss his acting, rather than his appearance. I fortunately stumbled across this thread and discovered dozens of Gaians who shared the same ideals as ~*Blood Rose*~ and I.
Short minutes after reading Andtalathiel's thread, The Anti-Fangirl Guild was born! We quickly became one of the fastest-growing guilds on Gaia, totalling more than 100 members within our first month. Sadly, all good things come to an end, and well over half of those 100 members faded away, never to post again.
Thanks to our die-hard members, however, The Anti-Fangirl Guild still managed to prosper. We pulled some memorable pranks, such as starting a wide-spread rumour that Orlando Bloom had married Kate Bosworth in Hawaii, and Freodwyn's ever-popular fan thread for Bakshi Legolas. An Anti-Fangirl website is in the works, involving a fangirl dictionary, the hilarious stories of Kirjava and Andtalathiel, and many more gems to keep your interest.
Our guild thread had swelled to more than 400 pages before Lanzer and the admins released the Guild Forum system. We knew that we had to form our own forum, so we started saving up for the 20,000G we required. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we quickly got our hands on the gold, and now our Anti-Fangirl Guild Forum is up and running.
We hope that you will enjoy your membership in our guild, and eagerly contribute to our growing forum!

Heh, we've actually be around for a while, since we started out in the old guild section. There was a few months, though, of very little movement here. sad Anyway, welcome aboard! (Get it? Board? I'm going to be on vacation over the rest of the week and weekend. I won't be back and have internet access until the 22nd (next Monday).
