Well, I searched the forum and didn't see one for this subject, so decided to make one myself. Now given how many My HiMe and Ichigo threads I've seen, I imagine pairings from those series will number among the top. But who are your all time favorite pairings (canon or not)? I'll start the ball rolling with:
Sakaki/Kaorin
Series: Azumanga Daioh
Canon: Maybe
Reason: They'd just be so cute together. And Kaorin's devotion and affection is so endearing.
Konoka/Setsuna
Series: Negima
Canon: Darn close if not real
Reason: The "friends to lovers" scenario is just too heartwarming to deny.
Matsuri/Ana
Series: Strawberry Marshmallow
Canon: Not a chance
Reason: C'mon, these two are just too adorable
Kumi/Yuri
Series: Alien 9
Canon: Sorta
Reason: Again, the "friends to lovers" scenario strikes. Also, Yuri is just so dependant and clingy to Kumi, that it's irresistable
This list will grow, of course as I come across new series as well as pairing ideas.

Reason:Yes just seem so cute together! I mean they somethimes act like they like eachother and it's just so cute!
Flonne/Etna

Canon:NO!
Reason:Flonne is perfect for her. She can teach her how to love and Etna could teach Flonne to be tougher. I love it!
Rozalin/Yukimaru
Series biggrin isgaea 2
Canon:No!
Reason:They seem so cute and they both liked Adell, but seemed so deined by him. They can have eachother and Yukimaru is perfect for getting Rozalin to lighten up.

Series: Mahou Sensei Negima mad
Canon: somewhat, not really
Reason: Even though this is a fan pairing I came up with, I think the thought of them being together is uber cute. Though I do think that Makie/Yuuna, and Makie/Akira would be just as cute too.
I have other pairings that I like. I just can't think about them at the moment.

Reason: I'm not quite sure what drew me to this pairing... maybe all the time they spend together once Scieszka goes into hiding in Risembool? x3

Canon: No, but it should be!
Reason: Two super heroes, seemingly polar opposites, drawn together by fate, and soon become best friends... come on, in one episode, Nagisa plays Romeo with Honoka playing Juliet!
Hotaru/Chibiusa
Series: Sailor Moon
Canon: In my personal opinion, I think the idea is presented in the manga. xD
Reason: They sgare a close bond, stronger than friendship. Even the English adaption of the manga includes some very lovey-dovey dialogue between the two~

Canon: No, as far as I know... I'm not far in the series...
Reason: ...they're so cute! ...I haven't seen very far into the series yet... but I think they're made for eachother. x3

alot of my favorite pairings are from crossovers. but not all of them.
1. hermione from harry potter and orihime from bleach. it used to be hermine and rukia but now that i think about it they wouldnt go well together.
2. sailor moon and the girl version of harry potter (haruka potter?)
3. haruhi from the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya and ginny from harry potter. its my best friends least favorite, however.
4. yuki from the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya and luna from harry potter.
and my least fave pairing was my fave pairing a few seconds ago. it was samantha X donnies girlfriend (from donnie darko)

series: harry potter/bleach crossover (luna is from harry potter and orihime is from bleach)
canon: idk what that means. I will answer when i find out thoe.
Reason: oh, come on. I doubt someone who doesnt like this crossover wouldnt like this pairing. However, very few people like this crossover. I think they would go well together. I think J.K rowling and whoever made bleach should hang out.

Reason: becuase luna saw haruhi's anime and fell in love with her, and haruhi read the harry potter books and fell in love with luna. and then haruhi went to hogwarts and met luna and they started dating. in my fanfiction of course.

Canon: no, of course not! there from a crossover! there only together in my fanfictions.
Reason: because hermione fixed haruhi's wand, and mikuru was really happy about it and kissed hermione "accidently"

Reason: Because pansy tripped on something and fell on haruhi, and accidentally kissed her.
