As most of you probably noticed, things are pretty hectic here. I truly feel as if I have failed with this guild. However, right now I'm leaning towards keeping it open after thinking on it.
I'm afraid of becoming a captain 'Nazi' of a guild. I don't want to force anyone to behave a certain way. So I had debated closing this place down. But then I thought, if someone wasn't willing to behave a certain way, they wouldn't even be in this guild in the first place. And it's not like they don't have a choice to leave. And it's not fair to those who adhere to the mission statement to suffer the effects of others who won't.
I was also afraid of losing friends over this, but a friend of mine who recently quit told me true friends wouldn't hold this against me. I believe she's right, so I'm going to take action.
I don't have the time, resources, or patience to rehaul this place right now. It's going to have to wait three weeks until I'm out of classes. Please take this time to rethink why you are here, and if you feel your actions are off, maybe try to correct them.
Here's the guild's mission statement. If you think it should be changed or amended in any way, PLEASE feel free to post about it here. I already plan to change it up a little and submit it for you guy's approval:
"To gather fellow Lightworkers to a safe haven to discuss our lives, missions, and journies, and offer one another comfort and support as we go about doing our part to help usher in a new era."

I don't think you're a bad person at all. I just don't like your sense of humor, and had hoped it could be toned down for the guild; I tone my sense of humor down big time. It was good to start a discussion over it, yes. An argument? No, there was no reason to. I regret having to lock that thread, as I found the topic fascinating and a good one to have. All I request is that disputes be handled in private, outside of the guild to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Believe it or not, there are members in this guild I've had major issues with; the difference is, I don't drag my muddy feet in here and get the floor dirty for all of us. And there is no way we all think alike here. Again, the point isn't to scream your differing views at each other, but to awknowledge and accept people's differences, not initiate some battle royale. This guild is based on a loving atmosphere, and though we all come from different places and have different views, we are able to set those aside to support one another. Or so the guild was intentioned, and will be set back on track of soon.

Glad to see it stay open.Now that's not very nice. I am to American. A country, race, or religion is no excuse to classify someone as. American's aren't all bad. I just can't stand when people think we are horrible. Our government is, not the people. And in all countries you'll find hot headed people and people who tell the truth, people who lie, all of that.

You just need more mods... I suspect you and me and many other people suffer from that thing that ALWAYS results in death... It's hereditary and begins at birth... They call it "Life". Not the cereal or the game, but real life. Life is ████ing hard... Don't be hard on yourself... I don't think anyone is born with the talent to run a guild on gaia.

Jeja, so this is what happens when I pay no attention to a guild for a while; events skip away from me.
Indeed, losing a member of our family is painful... Let us pray we lose few more.
