Lazarus walked out into the grounds surrounding the Castle. There, several soldiers were training their personal skills. Laz smiled at one young recruit that bragged about scoreing more points than the veteren to his left.
Lazarus motioned for several people to step out of the way, before charging a quick firebolt, and launching it at the near-by target.
(5 xp for Magic, the other 7 for level)

Laz smiled, as he quickly fired another volley of fire bursts at another target. The smoldering rubble that was the target was a test-a-ment to his skill.
(10 for magic, 5 for attack, 2 for level and umm, I had 6 exp for my level, from the trial page, plus the last 7, and this 2 is 15, i should be level 2 after this. )

( I appologise, that was not what I was doing. I was tired when I trained yesterday, and that was a sort of "mental" note, thought I guess it was physical, instead of mental... basically, I was typing out the math. I appologise if it seamed condensending. )
After his flashy display of power, a young cadet walked over to the mage. "Sir, I would be interested in trying my skills aginst your own, if you are interested."
Lazarus looked the man up and down, and nodded lightly. "Alright, I accept yor challange."
Lazarus stepped back, and charged a short blast of wind energy. The Cadet rushed the mage, as Lazarus blasted him with the attack. As he was falling back, the cadet threw his blade at Lazarus. The sword nicked his shoulder, and Lazarus fell to his knee, holding the cut. The cadet rolled to his feet, crouching much like Lazarus, prepairing for round turn of the attack.
(5 exp for Defense, and the other 10 for my level. )

Lazarus smiled, feeling the trickle of blood across his arm. With a quick survey of the area, he kicked up a bolder, and set it between him and the Cadet. Then he was off, running to a small pool of water.
The Cadet lept over the rock, and threw a handful of small blades at Atrimis. The mage conjurered another rock wall, and got to the water, using it to cure the cut. Then he smiled as the Cadet climbed over the earthen-wall.

He smiled, as the Cadet stepped down to his level. He now had both earth and water to play with. Quickly, he lashed a bolt of water around the Cadet, freezing it into ice. Then he sent rocks flying at the Cadet, wizzing past him, just enough to scare the young man.
The Cadet cried out as one brushed past his ear, the sockwave slicing into his skin. "Stop! I give."
Lazarus released his hold, and bowed to the Cadet. "That was a challange though. Perhaps we can train again?" The cadet smiled as he bowed back to Lazarus.
(Spread the points around! 5 for atk, 5 for def 2 for magic )

Lazarus made sure to get the Cadet's name, Dalgath, before retireing to his room for the night. As he slept, his dreams were of his past; forgotten memories that he wished would stay forgotten.

He was running, hiding in a forest. In his arms was a young girl. She was badly wounded. He kept searching for water so that he could heal her. He knew she was dear to him, but the reasoning why was not comming to him.
Suddenly there was a knight. The man lept at him, as if the heavy steel armor was nothing. Lazarus had to make a choice as time seamed to slow. The knight was going to catch him, if he ran. But if he set the girl down, she might not make it. He had to make a choice.

Lazarus awoke in a cold sweat. He looked around his room in the castle. Everything was the way he wanted it to be... he breathed a sigh of releaf.

(rolling) Lazarus dresses and walks out of the building. He makes his way down to the courtyard, and finds a small stream that runs through the guarden. He sits down by the water, and slides his feet out of his sandles. Slipping his feet into the dool water, he leans back, looking up at the night sky.
The stars twinkle down at him, seaming to smile and dance as he watches. His mind trails over the consteliation, seeing non of the ones he knew of. That realization told him just how far away from home he was but for some reason he couldn't understand, he wasn't sad to be away.
(4 points for magic 7 for level, and 5 for atk.)

A light shone on the horizion, startling Lazarus awake. He realised he had fallen asleep outside, and was blessed with the fact that he did not have any more dreams. He stood, and cleaned the dew off of his robes.
A short distance away, the Cadet was hauling equipment around. Lazarus ran over to help, neither of the men talking as they set everything up for the soldiers.

After they set everything up outside, they went in and had breakfast. They ate quietly, and proceded to the training fields.
Outside, everyone began to practice, with the Cadet helping the veteren soldiers don their armor. Lazarus proceded to check all the weapons, make sure they were in working order. He even helped the blacksmith with his fire, so that blades could be re-forged, and sharpened. He set back, and smiled to himself. It felt good to help people.

Suddenly there was a cry from the watch-towers. "Orcs are on the way!"
Lazarus quickly created a gust of wind, slamming the heavy stone doors surrounding the area closed. He then flew up to the top of the battlement, and looked down over the field. The orcs were advancing, and they were in numbers. He looked down at the soldiers, and cried out, "Archers, to me!"
As the men arranged themselves around the top of the wall, the orcs neared. Lazarus, summoning his magical bow signaled the attack by taking out one of the more ornate orcs, one deffinately higher in the clan. A volley of arrows followed his magical shot, and his fireblast followed their arrows, igniting the tips, searing orc flesh as the pierced deep. The war was on.

Laz slowly slipped behind some of the archers, as they continued to fire at the orcs comming up the path. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched several archers fall over the edge, arrows from the orcs taking them out. As his chanting reached what he called the hold point, He lept forward, and spoke the last word of the spell, a blaze of fire being unleshed, taking out several of the orcs.
He landed on his feet, and ducked behind the wall, as arrows soared over him, landing in the empty courtyard behind him.

As Laz kneeled down, he chanted a quick spell, enabling the wind behind his back, and ran quickly down the line of soldiers. As he raced, he tapped each of them on the back, surrounding them in a stone-like-skin. A soldier gets hit with an unexpected arrow, but the arrow bounced harmlessly off. Laz smiled, as he helped the soldiers turn the battle quickly.

The soldiers rallied a cry of triumph; the orcs were fleeing. Lazarus sighed, and leaned back against the wall. He was drained from all the spell casting. He recieved praise from the soldiers for helping them out, and he walked back to his quarters. He layed down on the bed, and fell immediately to sleep.
After a short while, he awoke, and searched for the King. Several soldiers were injuered, but there were not casualities. A soldier reported that they had found some magically enhanced weapons and armor on the orcs in the field. All in all, he was happy the orcs tried to invade. His soldiers would be outfitted with improved gear. Lazarus was glad to have helped.
(all 11 to exp. Updated stats. Level 4 - 4 to next level Attack 3 - 15 to next level Defense 3 - 15 to next level, Magic 5 - 25 to next level.)
