General Journal Rules
Follow the Gaia TOS.
Do NOT steal any of the art or character concepts displayed within the thread or the guild or the journals, art/creative copy right thieves will be reported. You can use artwork only if you have been given promission to use it.
Journals are meant to Chronical the different various aspects and of a character's life. Such as: Private Roleplays ( Meaning only your characters ), roleplays with other people ( meaning in other threas like RP appropriate threads or your home ), and Personal Journal Entries ( from your kid and your character). The Journals are treated more like a scrapbook/diary than a place to RP.
If you are using artwork please credit the artist, even to yourself. This is to help promote artists and give credit where it is due.
Please try to keep your journal up to date, it's so it's easier to keep track of changes in personality, likes, dislikes, and phsyical appearance.
While imitation is the best form of flattery, your character should be original. Please avoid cliches and clones. What does this mean? Well, this means that if your character is generally depressed this doesn't mean their lives is a cesspool of never ending sorrow.
No god modding, power playing, and all that tomfoolery.
If you are inactive or cannot keep up with your characters, well we'll give you a heads up of what your options are.
Only one Journal thread per character.
No Rping in your Journal thread.
Before entering roleplay, your profile and journal should be completed. At least. #__#

The Journal Requirements As per stated in the rules, the Journals is nothing but a way to keep track of information, much like a Diary, blog, or a Scrapbook.
NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO POST IN YOUR JOURNAL, EXCEPT YOU ( the owner(s) ) AND THE STAFF.
There is very little else required out of the Journal except these few things:
The Character Certificate ( which is posted by us )
The Character Sheet ( which is posted by us )
A Character Profile, with an updated picture or character description
Inventory ( a post detailing items carried at all times, what they take to school, and what they carry on their free time... this does include jewlery )
A Friend and Foe post to keept track of relationships with other characters.
You can add more if you like!
... Like a journal, you must make entries. At least periodically. Basic entires keep track of RPs, actual jounral entires, or if you are an artist you can post pictures of things that have happened like a scrap book.
Remember! Only post things relating to the character the journal belongs to, so entries should be in their point of view.
