It's been debated before. I think we came to the agreement of just keeping the old topics...or something like that, just in case someone wished to revive it.

That's as bad as being a pack-rat, why keep them? What's the point of keeping topics when nobody joins them or cares much for them? It can only get worse when those people make other topics that nobody ends up joining, and as much as everyone tries to "avoid" this, face, it's not being done a good job of at all.
Things should be a little more organized in my opinion, but I cant say I'm far too surprised the guild just died.

Organization doesn't count for a lack of passionate members, unless you're just picky about seeing "too many topics".
I hardly count two pages (or not even that much) as too many topics, especially when I frequently go back and read said topics. I don't blame you for not knowing this, but the topics are precious to me because they involve my friends when they all remained here. Thus, they're staying.
I might do a bit of cleaning and get rid of the few that are just worthless nonsense (that's in my definition, not yours), but a majority of those topics are staying.

I'll admit: I didn't organize the guild's structure all that well. There's a clutter of subforums and stuff, and the organization has only deteriorated since the guild died. In theory, my structure would've kept things neatly organized (as long as I didn't go overboard with it the way I have now), and the system of rules would've allowed for an optimal balance of creativity and control, and between chatting and roleplaying.
However, the guild never really did get off the ground, and I suppose I accept this now. It would be nice if somehow it did take off, and if you or anyone else gets the urge to revive it I will pay attention, but I won't let it bother me otherwise. I still have some wonderful memories from this place which will never go away. Indeed, old threads are a major part of these memories. Though at any time- if someone could argue the need for it -I could dump all the old threads into some sort of separate subforum and start fresher.
I'm not too surprised the guild died either, in retrospect. I wasn't the kind of leader it needed at the time, and in a way I don't think any of us could've been. (Though I could be wrong.) It takes a special ability of generating large amounts of popularity combined with great effort to really get a guild running, in my opinion.
