Its official! The next Sims 2 expansion pack has been announced. The title of the next EP will be Free Time and will allow your Sims to take up hobbies and past times which they can then enter competitions with. ...wow.... OF all the EPs they did freetime... just wow... EA I'm seriously disappointed. :/ Not saying it's stupid, but they coulda thought of something better IMO.

I think it looks great.
There's never enough for a Sim to do around the house - I think this pack will add some much needed variety. Personally, I can't wait.
The toddler activity table is adorable. 4laugh

I agree that this sounds pretty great. It will give them more activities to do together or alone. I just hope there is time for it while building skills/friends/keeping them alive.
I lurve the ballet & the toddler group play table!!

Well I'm only a bit disappointed - they didn't put tennis and some more "important" activities, but about the rest - I SO WANT THIS EP!!!

I think I like it so far. Although they could have done other stuff for the last expansion pack before Sims 3 (I dont know if this is true but I would only assume so), I like that sims can dance, bake, sew, and other neat hobbies. They also have restoring cars! I hope that means you can customize cars and have some new cars now in this expansion pack.
I also like the craft table for toddlers. How cute.

Did you see the video? It showed some Sims working on a car and showed it when it was finished. It was deffinately a NEW car style. I'm REALLY looking forward to this pack. When I first heard about it before any information had been given out I thought it would be rubbish but now that I can see what its going to be like I can't wait.

geekstinkbreath;; When I first heard of the concept for Free Time I thought that it was going to be rather stupid and a waste of $30.
But since I went to the Official Site and watched the video they recently released, I really want it.

but the sims being able to sew scares me a bit
(It gives them one more dangerous object that they can hurt themselves on)

THANK YOU SIMS COMPANY PEOPLES! cause i said here a couple months ago that i wanted a sims game with sports like soccer and etc and they have it in the pack! omg omg omg!! i really want it, along with the other expansion packs. my lord haha the game is so addicting and i only have 2 expansions now, university and nightlife. i really wanna get this, seasons, and bon voyage real baddddd. but i dont wanna waste my money on it.. so can you say 'xmas present'? haha
