I know it seems like the manga's coming to an end, but there's still a lot of life potentially left in the story. A lot of small details, getting characters places, bringing others back. A lot of stuff that could happen between now and THE END

I think so too. It doesn't seem like FMA will be ending anytime soon. A lot of people keep saying it seems like it's ending, but to me, it seems as if there's so much more to be explained and resolved. Especially since the latest chapter. It looks like war has just started to break out.
