I was wondering when capcom would get it though their heads to stop milking Street Fighter 2, ignoring Street Fighter three and finally release Street fighter four. Well they finally have. http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3164488Sure took capcom long enough. Sadly Now they will have a new Street fighter to milk for the next fifteen years.

Good, it's not April 1st.
Why?
EGM + awaited release news = April's Fools Day joke.
Anyhow, I hope Chun Li makes a better comeback than in SF3.
And that characters like Kairi, Sakura, Cammy, Mika, Karin, Blanka and Vega come back for more fun bitchslapping.
... Tho Elena, Ibuki and Alex can also be good returners (I do like the SF3 characters, except for Sean, Yun and Yang, who were most lametastic.)
Then again, if SF4 ends up in fail, there's always Mugen...

They had that April Fools Joke about Sonic In Smash Brothers and now Sonic is in Smash Brothers. Sure it's a different version but still. Anyway I searched info on the game and it's scarse right now but it will play like the older games only with 3d graphics. Minor disapointment as Guilty Gear proves that 2-D fighters are not dead. Still this might also be Capcons second good 3D fighter (I Like Rival Schools)

Boo Capcom. With all the screen shots for Street fighter four poping up they are really, really pissing me off. This is not Street Fighter Four, this is Street fighter Two-3D. All of the characters so far have been Street fighter two characters. There is only new guy, looks like a white wresler but still. The Street Fighter series is suppose to be Ken and Ryu facing mainly a totally new group of fighters for each main entery in the series. Yet this time you have the pretty much the whole cast of Street Fighter two. Damn. Well they better have a ton of new moves.
Capcom I have not been waiting for ever for this game just for it to be Street fighter 2-3d, so please surprise me.

They already made SF 2 3-D though... Well, okay, so EX had a few new characters, but overally they were pushovers (only Kairi and Nanase were a different matter there.)

I know, well the Ex series had a ton of new characters, at least half the cast were new. There are only two new characters so far in Street Fighter four, a white Wesler and a Red head female punk rocker. No Street Fighter three characters, or Alpha characters just Street Fighter two characters and two noobs. Like I said I have been waiting too long for Street Fighter four and so far this game does not fulfill my expectations at all.

And once more, the greatest Street Fighters of all time are ignored in favor of "older" and "better" ones... And some n00b characters.
But no matter what, I'll still prefer Sakura and Karin over all those "new" characters. I bet they're a zangief clone and a chun-li wannabe.)

Well Street Fighter 2 3D four is now released and GOD DAMN IT not a single Street Fighter three character. Every Street Fighter two character, a few bigger name Alpha characters and even the reclusive Shen Long is in the game but not one street fighter three character. God damn it. Not every Street Fighter Three character sucked.
Just kidding about Shen Long, but Gouken basicly is Shen Long.

Heck. I was hoping to see Ibuki, Elena and Necro there. Not that lame-a** Gill and his underwear-wearing cheap a*****e of a friend, tho.
However, Sakura is back? Sound like a fanbrat as I may, I'm going to 'buy' this game just for that. Nothing beats the fun of dragon-killing Akuuma's uber dragon punches.
From what I could see, though, Akuuma looks less cheap than usual. Must be a bug that will be corrected in a future update. rofl

I was, to say it nicely, extremely disappointed by this game.
It's just "Street Fighter Alpha with prettier graphics and only half the cast" and the four new additions to the crew are, at best, dismissable.
Nevermind that Shang Tsung-wannabe of a boss is now the number one in my "easiest bosses" list. Shang Tsung himself got kicked out to second place.
1/10, if only because it has Sakura in it.

Well Street Fighter II in 3d Street Fighter Four is getting a new version with ten new characters, guess which characters? Two more street fighter two characters (That makes all of them) a street fighter one character (Adon) and two Final Fight characters. Oh and another noob. Why does Capcom hate Street Fighter three so much?
