There's a silver lining to alcohol, mainly that it is less likely to cause hangovers. The closer to being pure alcohol, the less chance. Something interesting that I read once.

Mixing too many different types of liquor is the only thing that's ever caused me to get one. But man, that one time, I tasted gin for a week straight. Everything tasted like pine trees.
I usually stick to scotch or beer and avoid the clear booze anyway.

Vodka is cheap and gets me drunk, so I'm friends with vodka. I had black vodka the other day. It's cool. Just normal vodka coloured black.
I'd rather have spirits anyway. I usually drink vodka or whiskey. Beer is too sour and yeasty for my tastes.

Ewww...beer is gross...except for Guinness...that's just the Irish blood talking though...Rum and Tequila are all I need.
