So the fridge broke, all the frozen stuff for the holidays is spoiled, I had a fight with mon chere and now, finally, I managed to spill a whole bottle of masking fluid onto my nearly finished painting.
cry I'm done with today.

cry I'm done with today. That's definately a shitty day D: At least you'll be able to get over the fight, which is the most important thing.

Mph, I know him, he'll be in sulk-mode for at least one more day and night before things thaw over. Oh well. More time to do a new painting.

Arguments are what makes a relationship worth staying in, so long as they don't become too frequent. I've had more than a few arguments with my girlfriend the past week, but when I spent a day without her I missed it.

Maybe the word 'fight' did not really describe what we do. We express our displeasure with each other in a more or less subtle way, then slink off and wait until things are normal again. sweatdrop

For me, it starts off subtle and climbs to either screaming anger or snarky comments, followed quickly by apologies on both sides. Make-up sex isn't in the deal, but I'd rather have make-up cuddles.

To be honest, sex after a disagreement (for me at least) feels too much like 'we should do this because tv tells us to', and not like something heartfelt.

Maybe the concept would work if it came after a "hot" fight with lots of screaming and arm-waving instead of a cold war of attrition as the two of us wage... *shrugs*
