We sail, wakeboard, swim, and stuff every week in the summer, we also have several large yearly events (a dance and honer ceramony, a compitetion, and a traning weekend) and over the winter we learn about navigating and that kind of stuff.
P.S. Its for guys and girls ages 14-21

interesting. I have never heard of such a thing but it sounds entertaining. Are Sea Scouts mostly around the coastlines? because if they are that would probably be why I have never heard of them. There isn't much surfing in places like Wisconsin razz lol.

I think it's mostly around the coasts. I'm on the east coast and the joint activatys go by flottila and the flottila I'm part of is just the east coast.
A cool thing about Sea Scouts is if you earn the quartermasters award (the equivelent of eagles or gold) and you later join the navy you will have a higher rank so thats cool if your planing it.

I'm personaly not but some people are and if your thinking about it theres stuff you can do throught sea scouts to learn more like my brother (he's also in sea scouts) when on a long weekend on a navy sub biggrin he also sailed to bermuda but that has nothing to do with the navy biggrin .

We don't have a ship here but some people are trying to start one in southern Colorado. I hope it gets going.
