We have all HEARD of the movie 40 Year old Virgin, and make jokes about it, even if we haven't seen it. However, I was just wondering what ages ARE we? I mean, like most of Gaia, I would expect the majority of us to be, well, young teenagers, but ARE there "older" virgins here, as well, like myself? (I am going to be 29 in April)
To me, the possibility of becoming a 40 YOV is not just a joke... because my decission is not to have sex outside of marriage, there is a possibility I may NEVER marry. Not everyone does, afterall. I am not being negative... just realistic. If I just don't find the guy "of my dreams," I am not going to SETTLE, and I have other things to live for, to work for... and in that case, well, there is a chance I may NOT have sex... ever. Be Celebate. While that sure doesn't sound like fun, it is POSSIBLE.
So, how old are you?
Is there a "limit" to your "waiting" for the right person? (like if you get to a certain age would ypou just say Screw it (ha! How appropriate), I am losing it anyway?
Would you be willing to remain celebate your whole life?

well im gona be 20 on april to and im guessing that 9 years later im gona be on your position for i have the same standars that you do exept that maeby if im in love whit and that person has the same fellings as me then maeby i would have sex for my real desire is to make love and not to have sex redface

I'm 20 I don't think I will ever "give up" my intregrety. I have never seen the movie and don't really plan to (I dislike movies like that). I honestly really hope I'm not a virgin for to much longer sweatdrop Since i whould only lose it for love being a virgin at an age like 40 whould mean i hadn't found love yet. It's painful enogh to not have found love at my current age.

I'm 18, but that's still kind of young. And I'm getting to the point where if I get the chance to lose it I'm taking it. But that doesn't mean I'm just going to do it with anyone. I still want it to be with that "special someone" who I have not yet found, or at least haven't met in person.

I'm 16, and I don't want to be a virgin forever because I want to experience almost everything that is possible. I think that if I turn thirty something and I still haven't gotten married then I would start panicking a little because I want to have a big family and stuff.

Well, I am 20 years old and have been in a relationship for over 3 years now. Quite frankly, I don't think I will be waiting much longer. sweatdrop My boy has been nothing but patient with me and my desire to wait, but I'm getting to the point where I know that I'm going to be with him for a very long time, if not forever, so I feel comfortable with him.

I just turned 18 and I'm quite proud to finally be an adult and still be a virgin. Actually, the idea of being a virgin my whole life is admirable to me. I'm sure I'll get married someday and then no longer be a virgin, but I'm not going to give up my virginity until I'm married. If it happens that I don't get married then I have no problem at all with being a virgin until the day I die.

It's pretty much the same situation for me where I refuse to settle for much less than what I have in mind (I'm willing to make compromises, but I won't settle. That doesn't make too much sense, does it? But it does, I assure you... XD) even though I know I'll never actually find someone who totally fits my ideals (nobody is perfect, and I'm not looking for the perfect guy. Just the one who's perfect for me. n_n), I think that's okay.
I'd rather find the guy who fits or the one who comes the absolute closest.
I know my mother has plans to basically make me lose it before I'm thirty... because she claims being thirty years old and a virgin is just sad.
I'm more or less indifferent.
I believe I'd rather never have sex at all than to have my virginity taken from me by some a** hole who does not respect virginity. For this, that ******** must die. D<

But sadly, it's either find the man I'm going to marry and we have our wedding before I turn thirty, or my mom hires a prositute with a pack of condoms to, uh, end it all for me while various devices are employed..
