Ever since Matt left I have been seeing an awful lot of people who just hate on him, think he's an a*****e for leaving, and just don't like him. I respect this opinion, whoever may have it, but I just want to make some things straight to maybe turn some of the haters around.

Yes, Matt left and it was very heartbreaking. He left to be more with his wife. There was a lot of speculation as to if this was the real reason, even I came up with a few theories. But I truely believe this was the real reason. Matt loves Libby. If you look at them, if you see them, if you see the things Matt has written about her in both the ABL booklet and the booklet for AVA's CD "I-Empire," you can tell just how much he cherishes and loves her.
Now, there was a lot of fuss when Matt joined AVA. Whether people thought that AVA was a horrible band, or that Matt was betraying us for AVA. The horrible band thing, well, that's your own opinion. But the betrayal is completely out of the question. AVA simply has a less-hectic tour schedule. As a result, Matt gets to spend more time with his wife AND continue to persue music, which was his dream for a VERY long time. He's still following his dreams and his love.
Now, if you had to choose between something that you do that you really do cherish or the love of your life AND the dream that you have persued since you were young, which do you think you would choose? I think I know, at least, what I would choose.

I just want some people to see understanding and not hate him. He was my favorite member and I loved him, I literally fell in love with this man, and I did hate him at one time. But then I looked at the things that are important to him and I saw that if I was him, I would have done the exact same thing.

The decision is your choice. Please, I implore you not to bash me for this. Put in some input, whether it be postive or negative, but please, do not get all over my a** for this if you disagree.
