*Planet Vegeta*
The Planet Vegeta, roughly 5 billion years old, is located in the north galaxy. It's an earth-sized planet which, if seen from afar, is blood red with a single moon that rotates extremely slowly. The clouds seem never ending, and envelop the entire planet. Vegeta, on the surface, has Sayian cities along its coastlines with waste lands scattered further in. In addition, there are golden fields stretched out as far as the eye can see. The planet could be called a place of battle because of its history and the individuals that call it home.
**History**
Five million years ago, two spieces came into existense on Planet Plant, the Sayians and the Tuffles. Much of the warsa destined to occur in the future would be as a result of the conflicts between these two groups. For years, the Tuffles managed to control ther Saiyans, keeping them away from their cities and town with superior technology. Three thousand years ago, however, that all changed.

3,000 years ago:
-The leaders of each of the six Saiyan tribes all spontaneously tap into the legendary golden power of the Super Saiyan. None of them are worthy enough to claim it, however, and only ascend to the level of 'False Super Saiyan.' In a blind rage, they cut a path of destruction across Planet Plant. Thousands of both Saiyans and Tuffles are killed. As their power threatens to consume the planet, an uneasy alliance between the Saiyans and Tuffles brings their destruction to an end. Before their deaths, however, the six legendary Saiyans prophesize the coming of a seventh, true Super Saiyan to replace them.
-With the deaths of the six Super Saiyans, the Tuffles turn on their Saiyan allies. Most of the Saiyans present for the prophecy are killed and the Super Saiyan falls into legend.
-The legend becomes filled with errors. Some legends make the mistake of saying there were seven legendary Super Saiyans, while others say there was only one who could only maintain the transformation as an Oozaru.
-The near-destruction of the north galaxy due to the colossal amount of Super Saiyan energy comes to the attention of the East Kaioshin. Knowing that the seventh Super Saiyan would have even more unimaginable power, he personally orders King Yema to see that the prophesized child is not born as a Saiyan. Instead, the Legendary Super Saiyan is born on Earth as a human, leaving the prophecy unfulfilled.

For a time, life on Planet Plant returned to normal. The Tuffles saw the Super Saiyan event as an isolated event, thinking little of it. They continued to ignore the Saiyan population. It seemed as though the Saiyansd were doomed to a life of exile and eventual extinction. Then, Piccolo landed:

*891 years ago:
-Piccolo crashes on Planet Plant.
-He later separates himself into a being of pure good and a being of pure evil. The evil being will later come to be known as King Piccolo.
*885 years ago:
-Piccolo and his double set out from their mountain home. Some months later, they encounter the Tuffles, the ruling race on Planet Plant. Rejected by the Tuffles and with nowhere else to go, the Namekians are taken in by members of Plant's other humanoid race, the Saiyans.
*875 years ago:
-The Saiyans succeed in overthrowing the Tuffles, destroying their entire civilization in a single night thanks to a rare full moon.

The Tuffles not killed in the war are hunted down by the Saiyans and brutally murdered. With their technology now accessible to the Saiyans, the Saiyans began to emerge as master tactitions. Five years after the Saiyans had triumphed over the Tuffles however, their leader is assasinated by a Saiyan known as Vegeta. Establishing himself as the planet's first king, Vegeta named the planet after himself. For a time, all was good for the Saiyans: they progressed in the realm of technology and combat tactics greatly, foregoing their barbarian roots. However, with total dominance of their planet, the Saiyans wanted to be challenged. Thae chance for that challenge would present itself when the Saiyans were approachhed by the Acronians

-During the reign of King Vegeta III, the Saiyans are approached by the Acronians, a race of beings working for Frieza. They employ the Saiyans as space pirates to ready planets for sale on the galactic black market.

The Saiyans became a warrior race. They adopted an honor system built on pride and the conduct of warriors. The object of every Saiyan became to do well in battle for the honor of their planet and their king. The average Saiyan thought little of Frieza and his manipulations.
However, some did not conform to the idea that all glory was dervied through battle. They saw the evil of Frieza and, left with no other choice, the left Vegeta.

*70 years ago:
-During the rule of King Vegeta IX, a ship full of Saiyans flees Vegeta. It is later shot down by Saiyan space pods and crashes on Earth. This was reported to Frieza.
*34 years ago:
-Vegeta X is born.
*5 years ago:
-Vegeta X becomes the new king of the Saiyans.
*2 years ago:
-Frieza's paranoia about the Earth Saiyans grows. He orders Jeice to invade the Earth with three waves of Saiyan soldiers. Vegeta is furious with Friza for using his people as cannon fodder.
*1 year later, King Vegeta lauched a gigantic counter attacking Frieza, but thanks to Frieza's alliance with the notorious Dr.Gero. Frieza was able to repel the attack and also stay alive. Knowing that the attack was a faliure. King Vegeta ordered his men to get of Planet and return home, leaving the Frieza's future death in the hands of the warriors from Earth.
NOW: With the death of Frieza at the hands of the Earth-Saiyans, King Vegeta and his armies return to face a world without Frieza.
