Welcome!
This is going to be our Event-Center 3nodding
Here we'll be able to list possible events (like dates, festivals, etc), organize the events or just post ideas. I would like to structure it a bit, so give me some time to open a thread with all possible dates included and may an 'idea-thread' (if you care to do one, go ahead xd )

Hellllooooo!!!!
It might SEEM a bit early, but Valentines Day is just a month away...kinda. If an event is to be a month long (i.e., if the holiday is on the 9th, then the event would run from 9th of one month to 9th of next), then it's never too soon to think about the upcoming month!
Planning, if most folks are like me, takes awhile, so just thought I would bring it up early so ppls could be thinkin on it!
Oh, and another idea--gifting and giving wouldn't necessarily have to be items such as one would find in the MP. Maybe siggies, or banners, or virtual items, such as candy or bouquets (for the chickies) or cans of grease and wrenches for the guys ( rofl totally kidding there!) But you get the idea! mrgreen
This would keep gold costs down, and still bring a smile to the face of the recipient! 4laugh

I like that ida as well cause for those of us we dont have much gold dont have to spend that much

Thats cool .......i go for it either way ... cant wait to see what Gaia does for Valentines ... mostly cause it has half my name in it LOL otherwise i dislike Valentines day IRL

Oh i had some idears for when we have the next one(s) easter (which has already been discussed) Saint Patricks day (whic some people have mentioned) and april fools we shuld send gifts saying some really catchy phrase for a big item or something and have it be something little

YAY! I'm glad I found the thread where I could contribute my event idea.
I definitely agree with river on the ST. PATRICK'S DAY event. I just came up with this idea of PINCHING. The idea would be to try to find someone on Gaia that is not wearing a pixel of green anywhere on his/her avi and then to gift that individual with an item that is green, saying in the message, "You've just been PINCHED because you aren't wearing any green! Hurry, put this gift on and join the PINCHING fun!" or something like that.
We can also gift people with green on, of course. For those people, maybe we could have a slightly different message, like, you've been pinched because you are so cute in your green regalia. Haha...
I dunno. I'm just throwing it out there.

Hmmm...that's a really cute idea purple! My only concern is that Easter is in March too--it's really early this year! Two events in one month might be a bit overwhelming.
But...maybe if the St. Pat's one were done like the purple people eater kind of thing...maybe more informal, instead of a whole thread? Lol, I like that...*snickers at "pinching"*... 4laugh

Oh yeah, I forgot about Easter. We could do either/or, I suppose. If more people want St. Patty's to be the main event, then we'll have that with Easter on the side. But if more people want Easter, then we'll have St. Patty's on the side. And it could be for the WHOLE month.
Yeah, I like the Pinching idea. Although, I've decided that for those Gaians that are already wearing green, you'd probably just get them something from their wishlist.

Ya, I know, and YOU are already all set. Haha.
In the past, has Gaia done Easter events or St. Patty's day events? I don't know if we want to coordinate with them or do what they aren't doing, so you can get the whole March item experience. I dunno. We can put it up for a vote to the members of this guild.

I dunno. I'm just throwing it out there. I wear orange on St. Patrick's Day (just to annoy my husband) rofl My "Irish" family are a bunch of Scottish Presbyterians who were sent to Ireland. wink It sounds like fun though.
