Behind the armoury if you can unburry the door there is a small room tha can hold about 10 people. This room has mainly been used for storage as well as testing out lightsaber designs. But Until classes start students are welcom with Master Casewins Permission to use this room as a mini practice room for the fighting skils.

"Well this is it it's not that big but I use it to test out new designs for the lightsabers. So I think we should start off with basic battle techniques." She ignited her light sabre reviling her silver blade. "Now there are many ways in battling. I usually battle with two sabres but for now we will start off with one." She walked over to a small control pannel and activated hologram. It was a hologram of a droid that appeared to be the average height of a human. "Now there are six key places on a droid or any human that will render them incapable of battling most of the time. These are the head, shoulders, torso, and legs." She said hitting each place one at a time with her lightsaber. "The majority of the times the head hits are deadly. With the chest, torso area they can cause great damage or death to a person. Now I know that this is not a real droid but I want you to hit the areas I just mentioned. Don't go too lightly think of it as real battle so that I have an idea of how hard and stable your hits are." she said indicating for him to give it a try.

((sorry it took a while i had to get a new bus pass so i can get my arse to the University to get my books sometime this week.))

Casey watched Venku destroy the droid. She looked at the stats that were generated on the controol pannel. For the most part they were good clean hits. The legs were a bit weaker but it was to be expected with the way he had chosen to hit them but it still would have rendered the driod incapable of motion. "You did very well. When it comes to the legs do not get fancy with the hit. the sweeipng motion causes the hits to be lighter and less direct. you want a good strong slash instead of a sweep to make clean cuts."

She saw the sparks fly out of the saber. "Deactivate it and pass it here and I'll take a look at it." She said to Venku. She then deactivated her and placed it on the empty space on the controol pannel.

Casey carefully opened the lightsaber. She then walked over to the wall and pressed a button a small opening appeared which contained some tools in it. She pulled out two and placed them on her desk. "These" she said pointing to the tools. "Are like energy detectors, they detect if the current within the sabers are balanced. If something electrical within the saber is not right they will help you find which area of the saber is malfunctioning. If it is not detectable with this tool then there is something wrong with the crystals. You may have one as I have plenty of extras." She said giving him one of the detectors. She then placed the tool on some of the wires and parts within the lightsaber. As she was doing so she was reading the information that was showing up on the miniature screen near the top of the instrument. "Ah found the problem." she said when the screen showed up red. "It appears that your power cell has malfunctioned." she carefully pulled out the power cell and took a look at it. There was a tiny crack along the side of it. "One moment and I will get another cell to replace yours." she said as she left the room to get a new cell from the armory..

Casey cme back in with the power cell and placed it into the saber. She then closed everything back up and ignited the saber. "There it is working once again. just be careful and don't play around with the insides of it too much." She said deactivating it and handing it back over to him.

"we will eventually I just wanted to see how well you knew the basics. I do not want to see my students get defeated within the first five seconds of battle." Casey said. "But I suppose showing you proper defense will help. So i want you to try and take a hit at me. Doesn't matter where just do it and I'll try and block your blow." She said to Venku.

"Use your saber, rember it won't kill if you make a hit. You'll need to get use to fighting with it." Casey told the young man.

"Alright then," Casey said. "make your first Move." She stepped back and ignighted her lightsaber.
