I just got an idea while I was sitting here lol, but does anyone in the guild like to mod oblivion in the CS? I was thinking about maybe anyone on the fourms that likes to create stuff, maybe if we get enough people here at the forums we can get together and all put together a small island and then release it out to other members here...We could have a library and put books and peoms that people here on the forums write into oblivion....

What do yall think? It's just a fun idea, might work, might not. cool

A guild mod...
That's a really good idea! XD
I do a bit of modding myself. Not much, but I can do some.
I can mod Morrowind well, but I never really got into Obilvion.
But I can still do my bit! XD
I'd be into doing that.

Awesome! So thats one. They are pretty much the same thing, but I never really liked modding Morrowind. Everything started duplicating on me lol. I think it had to do with cleaning the mod or something. But I have better luck with Oblivion. I'm not the best at creating stuff but I can do it. I never could understand about making whole landmasses and putting them together....but I can make small islands mrgreen I never made any caves either, but have been thinking about putting a small hiddin one together for a hide out lol.

But anyway....I though it would be pretty cool. Especially if we had alot of people working on it together.

cool
cool

Yeah, they are pretty similar.
I could probably make a small island, but I dare say I cannot 3-D model for you.
I know how, but my software is a free version (Maya 8.5 Personal Learning Edition) which stops me saving as usable, commercial files.
I can do most things, I just know nothing of scripting outside the console. XD

I did manage to get a script where you can knock people over. That's fun. XD
And I can enable reanimation spells. If anyone wants that...

I have over 120 Modifications for Oblivion and I also have the TES:IV Construction Set. I have been fiddling with it but I still haven't figured out how to connect doorways to each other but, oh well. There was a Mod I was working on but gave up; I was trying to make an underground House of Earthly Delights in Bravil, next to the Skooma Den but I have no idea in the slightest how to set people to dance. I'm willing to hep, but I'm kind of limited in my abilities too.... sweatdrop

If my computer was better at prossessing than my cat then hecks yeah I would, but unfourtuanatly my computer is about as good at computing as my cat it would likely explode if i attempted to put the oblivion PC disk in the tray let alone mod it.

Well, here is a surprise for you; some Mods where made so that the game can run at its usual capacity more efficiently! Now, as long as your computer comes close to the minimum requirements for the game, it will run faster than your cat ever has. (I hate cats; selfish little things that are smug about having any amount of intelligence more than other pets. Plus, their s**t smells worse than Human s**t!! confused )

I doubt my computer meets the basic requierments either, it can't play like any good downloadable MMO's (Flyff, Silkroad, WoW, ect.) so I really dont know...

It originally needs 128MB video card and 512MB of RAM.
My RAM is a bit under, but my video card is 512MB (4x the required) so it sorta makes up for one another. XD
I had to save up for ages for the video card though... crying

Psh, go to New Egg; I got my video card for sixty-six dollars when it would have set me back one-hundred twenty. If you look for the open-box stuff, the items tend to be at half the price and where returned by people who just decided that they don't want it any more and has no problems. By the way, memory on the video card and that in your computer don't work together and add up; the memory on the mother board stores everything that the processor is working on or just finished and needs to be recalculated. The memory on the video card just stores the kernel for the video drivers and stores up memory of error scripts that can be fixed.
Otherwise, I thought the minimum req.'s for the game needed one full gig of memory... confused
