An island off the shores of Alexandria, at the central most point on the island resides an ancient fortress. Home to the legendary dragon knights or Dragoons. Commanded by a legendary warrior who seems never to age named Bahar it is rumored that he is one of the first dragons in the guise of a mortal man. None have been able to prove if this is true.
Dragon Knights generally form a pact with a wyvern or some other sub species of dragon and the two fight as one. Generally if the Dragoon dies the pact beast will die as well but if the beast is to die the dragoon will live.

Bahar walked silently through the halls of the fortress.
"Beckwith is proving to be a fine asset to the dragon knights....could it be possible that two saints could be related..."
He became deep in thought as he walked into his personal chambers.
