Alright its time to create some excitement... thats right, EXCITEMENT (I'm going to make this guild active even if it kills me). I'm kicking off the new PvP arena with... dun dun dun A tournament! Heres how it is going to work...

A standard tournament ladder will be used. depending on the amount of participants will be the size of it. The Grand Prize will be 10k Gaia gold, Second place is 5k.

Characters will be level 5

Their stats will start at 10 and you can distribute 10 points to make your
character (if confused by this well tell and me ill try to explain it another way)

Max stat is 18 before the race/other bonuses.

Core books only

Map is a plain 60ft x 60ft, ceiling is 10ft high, and a dirt floor

Each space = 5 ft (sorry the numbers after 9 are off but there isn't much I can do about that.)

No entry Fee (thats right thats all on me this time.)

Play by post combat style letting the dice decide.

All players are expected to be relatively active and each battle will be given a reasonable amount of time to finish. Non-active participants will be pulled from the tournament (I will do everything in my power to remind you to play if you forget)

Post Your character in The "Tournament Characters thread" In the PvP subforum Your character will be applied to a ladder that I will draw up (I will try to be as random with placement as possible[aka Ima pull out a home RNG and secretly give each character a number and decide placement on low to high numbers, lowest number = spot 1 and I'm sure you get the picture from there]) Once All characters are gathered I will Somehow find a way (probably with MS paint) to display Who you are facing.

I shall Need Neutral Party DM's For this since I'm not confident or really that available. Depending on the size of the tournament will depend on the amount of DM's I will need. All DM's will Get 1000 gold for their services BUT are unable to participate in the tournament. To be a Dm you must somehow show or tell me that you are decent and know the rules well.

Tournament Will Start Feburary 16 Unless we get less then 6 people then I will extend as necessary till we get at least 6 - 8 people playing and 1 DM.

You could participate as a player, if you have any questions just ask a DM or another player. Low levels is really just creativity and luck... mostly luck.

Can I use the Book of Nine Swords? I love being a crusader

Ok, Starting at 5th level, Do we get the starting gold for 5th Level characters as dictated in the DMG? or are you giving us weapons and stuff? Also, forgive me, Where do I sign up for this?
In Other Words, where do I post my character sheet?
and what races? I'm well aware core books, but are you allowing monsters from the monster manual?

Ok, thanks, in other words, can I play a monster with a level adjustment and whatnot, in otherwords, if I wanted to play a drow sorcerer or a gnoll figheter (Obviously not races like the Tarrasque,) But thats what I mean, I want to know my options
