I believe Hidan is really a female, and is not male. All of Shikamaru's major fights have been with the female kind, and I have to say, his fight with Hidan would probably be his most climatic as of yet. You know what this means? Hidan is a genderbender. You know...like Haku...but worse. For all we know, Hidan could have a puppet body made by Sasori and his original head sewed onto it by Kakuzu. Anythings pretty much possible, as it was shown that hearts and chakra could be transfered, and bodies as well (Kakuzu and Sasori...I'm looking at you). He would be considered "immortal" because he has a replaceable body that can just be sewed back on. He could originally had a female body, cut the head off and place it on a male body of Sasori's choosing because it was stronger.
So yes, to keep with the thing that Shikamaru always fights girls, I have come to the conclusion that Hidan is indeed a female, or at least was.
Yes, I am aware this contradicts my other theory.

O.o Dude WHAT THE EFF?!?!?!?! I mean.......uhmmm....interesting....theory <.< No I don't think so, you say that like it's definite. NONONONONO! Kishimoto wouldn't go to that much of an extreme and if he did it would be revealed in the anime. Ex: Naruto's dad being the 4th Hokage (that sealed him in Naruto). Also his chest is pretty much revealed in the manga and it looks normal........it's impossible for a women.....to have a man's body (they can be rly muscular though) because hormones make it impossible. (Look it up) No way Dudeeee -_-
