Here is a place that only the strong willed creatures should roam. The Harpies of Dermutha Island claim these cliffs as their own. They nest in the caverns that cover the cliff sides, and prey on the creatures below, above, and on the cliff side. Once they were hunter off because of the rare gems they would harbour, and store in their nests. These cliffs also shelter the forest behind from the spray of the sea.

Traveling from the forest, through the night, Ixia cam upon the cliffs of the island. It spotted a few of the harpies' fledglings perch unprotected on the edge of a series of peeks. The creature was tempted to growl, but it didn't, knowing all too well that it would scare away the small prey that it wished to feast on. It spread it's wings, using a small set of clicks, the other foul creatures couldn't hear, to detect where they were sitting.
Within moments Ixia jumped into the air, wings catching in the wind. It slowly dipped down to the ledges below, preparing to take one by the wings and drag it down into the dark depths below. The action took a few seconds, ripping the harpy from the ledge he plunged down, swinging the bird creature below it's claws before flattening wings to it's body. It took to the water, pinning the young bird creature to the sea floor, drowning it quickly.
Ixia waited a few moments before gripping the bird from it's muzzle, spilling blood from its body. Wings would spread and propel it's body through water, to the shorelines. The small creature was pulled from the water, Ixia shaking off its sleek body. Ixia growled at one of the advancing harpies, warning it that it had no place to stop this creature's death. the Harpy mother went off in another direction. Slowly Ixia spread it's wings, drying them off before flapping them to lift it's body into the air with the other dead Harpy child.
Ixia would fly back to to forest, creeping down into the high tree tops it'd set to the forest floor. It would walk about a few feet, the lifeless body hung over its shoulder. Ixia pulled the Harpy child into it's underground den, resting to the cool stone, sticking a few feet out. A growl would be given before it would bite into the creature's skull, a large crunch and crack released before another. Slowly his flesh began to strip the bone from the flesh, acid like while large 4 inch curled claws would rip the bleeding flesh open, splattering blood all over the cave floor.
