This is something that's never been tried here before, I think...
Prizes: 1000 gold first prize, 500 gold second prize, 100 gold third prize
Deadline: 9th February, 5:00PM London time.
Rules: This is the strange bit...
-Write a letter of resignation, and make it either funny or sad.
-Swearing is okay, but keep it partially blanked.
-You can enter more than once, but only one entry will win a prize
-The letter can be resigning anything, anyone, be creative! I just thought of an idea, the letter could be from a guy to his girlfriend resigning the relationship.
-It can be random as you like!
-Maximum word count, 700, you all know how little I stick to that.
-Have fun!

Dear Stephen,
I am sorry for all you've been through, and I am sorry for the amount of pain I put onto you. I should have been more...well...more. I was a jerk, and I know that you will never fogive me completely, but I hope this helps a bit. I was so sad, but I realize now that it couldn't compare to your feelings, if you know what I mean. I never even would have guesses you were that...depressed. And when you left the gas station, when Jazzmay had to come find you. I was so scared for you, I almost passed out, Darton said I looked like a ghost, or was it that I had saw one? I can't remember what he said. But I won't ever forget that moment. I was so scared that you would...nevermind. But I really think that I would have died if- if Jazzmay didn't go after you. If you know what I mean. You're not alone. And I will always love you, but not like I used to. It's no mystery that I love Darton now, but that's another story. I thought that I had to decide right away between you two, and that scared me to death. It's like I was blind to what my heart was telling me. There was too much for me to handle. I hope you are happy now though. I know I am. Me and Darton are still together, I think that our relationship was tightened by the experience of the bombing. Ours too, but not it the same way. I realized that exactly today is the date that the bombing was 4 years ago. Me and Darton are actually thinking about moving in together. I know it sounds strange right? haha. Well, I guess not. It's not like we'll be any different than it is now, only difference is that we will be in one house instead of two, because we're always at eachother's house all the time. I am sorry again. I miss you. And I hope we, and all the others can get together soon. Call me at 765-475-7778 Okay?

To the group of you--Christopher, Keegan, Megan, and of course Sara:
I have been thinking this over for a while now, and have finally made my decision. I have found a college that will give me that music scholarship, and I will be moving there this summer. I therefore will be, sadly, moving out of touch from the rest of you. The college I wish to attend is in Michigan, amazingly; quite a journey from here in sunny Florida. I therefore am regretfully resigning from our band, NmN. I know I will be quite troubled by leaving you all, but I will regret it forever if I do not take this offer. Keegan, I am especially troubled to tell you that our relationship won’t be able to continue; We’ll be very far apart, and after I graduate I will be moving to California, as my dream. My advice to you is not to grieve, but find another girl who is a lot better than myself. I know it is hard for all of you, it was ten times harder for me to decide on this, but please; let me go. Chris, you could find a great scholarship on your overall percussion skills, maybe even join a real band, that’s a lot better than ours ever was. Keegan, with your potential at lead guitar, you could shame Dan Estrin, Aaron Fink, AND Ryan Mendez. You know it. Meg, your Bass skills could get you a part in any band you chose, along with the backup vocals--you, too, Keegan. And Sara, I’ll bet if you put a silent add for managing out in the papers, people would flock to you. I know you’ll all do great, even if you just replace me and continue just the city-wide publishing’s. I’ll miss all of you, and the fun we had composing together. I want you all to think of our song, “See You In Your Dream One Day”. I hope to see you all again one day, and I hope that next time I see you, you are all in some way up there band that’s still only three years old with a bunch of twenty-something-year-olds but doing great. And I hope that I myself will have accomplished my own dream. I will enjoy seeing all of you again one day, but I will miss you until then. Keegan, especially you, thanks for everything. I’ll think about you every day, but I hope you don’t have to worry about me. I love all of you, and you know I do. One last thing to each of you; Chris, until we meet again, ‘chillax’ is still my favorite word. Keeg, I wrote “Lose That Grudge" for you, and that’ll never change. No matter where I end up, Keegan, I’ll remember the first day we met, and how you just took one look at me and cheered me up. Megan, get rid of that shyness and find another world to star in! And, by the way, you never did get a stronger high-five; Chris got a little ‘giggly’ when you would lightly tap someone’s hand. Sara, I’ll miss your attention to detail, and I’ll always remember your grin that first day that you got us a part in the city’s fine arts show. And to all of you; lots of love, good luck, don’t look back, and for the count, M&M is SO no more!

I am sorry to say, my dear, that I will be departing. Slender legs, daily bathing, a clean adolescent I know; you are more than any decent pair of pants could ask for. [which is hard to find these days] The thing is, you have to move on. I know you're attatched, and this is hard on me too. Ever since you picked me up at the store I knew I was going to reside in happiness..
Anyway, your mother and I struck an accord. I will live on with your younger brother, so don't worry about me. Yes, the others in the drawer will look down on me as a common hand-me-down, but I am still sure to be in good hands.
Your mother feels you are too old to be wearing skinny jeans with a ripped knee. Since you will be gong away to college, a nice new pair will take my place.
