that gaia is dead? i mean, my friends had mentioned it to me afew months back and i didn't agree with them. so then my other friend told me to get a facebook and that it's way bettr than gaia. so i got one and i was like "wow... to a certan extent, it really is!" then i slowly began to realize that all my friends in RL had a facebook and no longer got on gaia.... so is it true that gaia is out and facebook is in? is gaia really dead?!

I don't plan on getting a face book, but...yeah it seems pretty...dead as you call it. To me at least..but I got hacked and banned.

the only reason it dead cuz people keep leaving.our guild seem dead but i been trying to rebuild it...i need alittle help tho..it would be great if people would help..

People are, like, not going to Gaia, either because of Maplestory or Facebook. =_= It sucks. Most of the people who like Anime at my school have a Gaia AND Maplestory, but it seems Maplestory outnumbers Gaia... *sniffle*

i guess....man, i can't even get a maple story.... my dad's cpu exploded when i tried downloading it! but i hate the website anyways... my damn boyfriend chose playing Maple story instead of playing with me! .....wait is it me, or did that not come out right?

It's not just you...that came out REALLY wrong!
Anyways, gaia never did come alive to begin with. If you go to that website that measures how many people are on the websites you put in, gaia doesn't come anywhere close to facebook. But at the same time, it's doing better than nothing, and it still hasn't hit that point where it becomes popular... It's still in that area where people are just starting to accept it.

I dunno... Other than the avatars, there's nothing about Gaia that really gives a lasting impression. It doesn't motivate me to log on everyday. I can't really say if Gaia itself is dead or not since I haven't been active for months; I know the guild certainly is. razz

yes and then there a small group of anime lovers that dont know what gaia is and abunch of gaians that dont know what anime is. i think there should be T.V advertistment. but something on some news a while back ruined that along ago

the reason i got on gaia in the first place is because of myspace, but for a while, i had a computer with a filter on 'social networking sites', and gaia ended up not constituting as such, so now it's like i come here a lot.
