who do you think would have really won the fight at the end valley?
i think naruto would of won but when naruto and sasuke fought on the roof of the hospital sasuke said to naruto"you wont even scratch my headband"(or something like that) and on the end of the fight when naruto and sasuke chakra collide at the valley naruto could have striked sasuke but didnt and aimed for sasukes headband to prove sasuke was wrong it was because of that naruto lost the fight and didnt win.
