So, I recently got a new computer (desktop! surprised ) and the speakers that came with it are beyond suckish emo ...and that's about it. But it totally kills anything that I try to listen to.

When I got my new desktop it did not come with speakers. It only had built-in speakers through the monitor, which sucked. Bad speakers can easily ruin the enjoyment from listening to music or playing games.
I was lucky that I still had my speakers from my old computer. They work great. So my computer is pretty good besides the integrated video card.
