Birthrights are, in this story, gifts from a Scion's divine parent that allows access to great power.
Usually obtained from a Visitation, Birthrights fall into four categories:

1. Creature-
The creature birthright grants a companion or mount to the Scion. This birthright represents a Scion's close tie to a creature of legend.

2. Guide-
A mentor for the Scion, who advises and trains to the best of it's abilities.
Guides can be either spiritual or mortal, most being the latter.
Their knowledge can not be accurate all the time, keep that in mind.
Spiritual guides require some anchor to the world of the living, like an heirloom or simply a jar that will contain the spirit.
In extreme circumstances, a spirit can posses a human being. When talking to a spirit guide, a Scion appears to be talking to themselves.
A mortal guide is that, mortal. They are not all-knowing, but can provide valuable real-world knowledge.

3. Followers-
Simple, a group of five humanoids that follow the Scion and fight on their behalf.
The followers will usually relate to the pantheon the Scion is aligned with.
Voodoo Scions get zombies, Japanese Scions lead ninjas or samurai, Norse Scions have viking warriors, etc.
Or followers can be simple, like cops or gang members.
All followers can die, making them unusable.
The Scion can acquire a new follower to replace a dead one,
or travel to the Underworld in hopes of returning the follower's spirit to their body.

4. Relic-
A relic is an item that has specific mystical traits, or allows Scions to tap into the powers of their divine blood.
Most relics that are attained through visitation give the Scion access to their divine-parent's element.
Example: A relic from Ares would give his Scion better battle skills.
Keep in mind, a Relic can still be lost, stolen, or, in rare cases, broken.

Other than the Visitation, Birthrights can be obtained during the course of the story. Relics are often stumbled across, kept in museums, tombs, and vaults. Also, it is possible for a Scion's divine parent, or another God, to grant the Scion gifts on their quests.

*All Birthrights must be ok'd or appointed by myself or another Mod.
