Author’s Notes: Well I got tired of waiting for a good fic of this pairing and decided to do something about it. So here we go!
Itachi was slain…
Akatsuki has been defeated…
Madara for all his scheming and planning was gone for good…
Five years had passed since these events, Sasuke returned to Konohagakure, things for the most part returned to the way they were, for the most part. Suigetsu, left to head to Kirigakure, Juugo, departed for parts unknown, and Karin, ever dedicated to Sasuke followed him to Konoha.
The Present…
It had been five years, Naruto was inevitably rejected by, Sakura enough that he just decided to give up. The logical next step would be for him to be involved with, Hinata right? Wrong! He was much too oblivious to her feelings, that and she was stuck in the friendzone that some guys possess for girls. There were still plenty of ladies out there, but he opted to play it safe for his sake. He just couldn’t deal with the pain that could come from rejection.
Anymore, Naruto was busy with either responsibilities as a Jounin or busy with his preparations to become the next Hokage. He wasn’t quite prepared for the job, which is why the current Hokage, Kakashi was training him for the job.
The blonde Shinobi was headed off to get himself some lunch, but he found himself unable to walk. He was caught in the Nara clan’s signature jutsu. “Sorry, Naruto…Ino demanded I do this…what a drag…” with irritation to his voice, Shikamaru apologized as he held Naruto fast in the trap.
“Uhhhh…does this have to do with her trying to get me to start dating again?” he sheepishly responded as he struggled against the shadows that restrained him truth was he could easily break free by increasing his chakra. Oddly enough, he didn’t want to, he evaded Ino as long as he could and he wouldn’t be able to keep running anymore.

Author’s Notes: Here we go again! The much anticipated chapter 3. There will be an supplemental information at the end of the chapter with information on the new OC’s.
One morning in Otogakure…
“Naruto…as of now, you will be known as, Gingetsune Arashi. This is for the safety of the mission. If you went by, Uzumaki Naruto they would realize something was up.” began the white haired Jounin, Kanshisha Shirotoku, whom was now dressed in his Jounin disguise. Black flak jacket, arctic camouflage pants, ninja sandals, his hair was concealed under a black turban which was tied closed with his hitae-ate.
“Understood, Shirotoku-sensei, or are you under a new name for the duration of this mission?” queried the young genin, which was a sensible question, given the boy knew all about Shirotoku and Kuroken’s past in Konoha. Well what they told him.
“Indeed! All whom have ties to Konoha that can conceal their identities while in the village will have pseudonyms.” the cheerful Jounin replied a smile on his face, he pulled out a scroll and unrolled it, going through a list of names he could use, eventually deciding on one. “You can call me, Getsuken Ookamishin. Got it memorized? Good!” cheerfully the Jounin questioned, the very manner of the Jounin somewhat confused the three genin present.
‘These names also serve as Code, for brother, and Hagane-sama. They will know what to do when they hear the names.’ he solemnly thought to himself, as he finished his disguise with a finishing touch. Placing his hands into a series of hand seals, as he finished his overall appearance had changed. His eyes changed from the pristine cerulean shade to a sienna color, and his face was now covered with scars. This new appearance was most ideal as it would conceal who he is was much better.
The way it was planned, Kuroken would take one team and Shirotoku would lead another leaving Orochimaru to pull the strings of his scheme from behind the scenes. The perfect scheme, or perhaps it would have been, if a sleeper agent hadn’t infiltrated the organization.
“Unless you have other things to do, we should be goings. Arashi, Rekka, Kin. Let’s go. We have to get to Konoha within the timeframe. That is…if you want to be in the Chuunin exam.”
