Alright, I have this evil little english teacher for AP. He supposedly thinks my writing is so good, that he wants me to write a short story for a part of this book he's doing. "how to become a good writer in fourty eight days." The only problem is, it has to be a story that is in First person (I can do it but I'm better at third).
When I am not given specifications as to what its going to be about mainly, I loose all writing ability....
I can't come up with characters, and I can't come up with a plot line! I need to finish this in one month, can any one PLEASE! help me?

You could...
Write it about a memorable experience you had that changed your view on life or a certain subject.
Write about a relationship you have or have had with a certain person and how the relationship affected you.
Write about one of life's everyday subjects and encounters--but with a twist.
Just some ideas. I myself find it's easier to write about personal experiences. =] And by the way, congrats on getting your writing into the book! 3nodding

I guess... the only problem is, nothing eventful really happens in my life. -> I don't have friends -> And I don't do any thing but play sports
I guess I could do something about sports... but the twist is what kills me DX I know I'm so sad.
Thanks for the congrats, he's gunna critique it in the book and tell me how to make it better xP ! I can't wait!

It doesn't have to be completely a story about something that happened to you--try basing it off an actual experience! And you can also distort things wildly out of proportion to make them really interesting. That's always fun. >: D
Have you ever been inspired, perhaps by anything relating to sports? Made a revelation? Realized something suddenly? Had an experience that gave you a different outlook?
That sounds so awesome!!! mrgreen 3nodding

yeah but thats when I'm not supposed to be writing! D= I don't know if its me, or if its normal, but when you're told you have to write something you can't write it at all, when your not trying to write you have multiple Ideas at a time.

Oh, I know what you mean.
try doing something like a character sketch. Think a random character up, and then start giving it a personality. Style. Wants. Needs. Goals in life. Secrets. While I'm writing, it seems to me that it's more of the characters that write the stories--I just record it all down. The deeper you make your character and the more complex it is, the more situations you can imagine it being in, struggling through, and accomplishing or failing.
As soon as your character is created, the story just follows naturally afterward. At least for me anyways. Good Luck~!
