It was a warm sunny day in the forest surrounding the Cherry Grove and Dilly worked happily; her hands deep in the rich soil. She was working on preparing the ground not far from the grove to house her personal flower garden.
As she hummed merrily to herself she had no idea of the dangers that lurked very close at hand.

Dangers being a foxy little pirate! Gwyn had momentarily abandoned her search for food when she smelled something in the nearby Cherry Grove. She hadn't much experience with the strange people that resided in this area and she was very curious. Who said it was only the cat that got bitten by curiosity? Carefully she crept forward on quite pads until she could see who was there. Thoughtfully she flicked her ears. Hm...maybe it was time for a little game. See if she could catch it. She smiled.

Dilly was totally oblivious to the world around her as she worked diligently in the tiny garden. This place to totally new, untouched soil and she was excited to get this growing.

Gwyn crept forward, moving from tree to bush as quietly as she could to stay hidden. Though she duelly noted that her "prey" seemed pretty oblivious. That was a whole lot easier then trying to get a bird or something. They were just so alert! But here was this one, just digging in the ground...
Carefully she ducked out of her hiding spot again and dashed to a new one. This time she might be in reaching distance if she stretched... Slowing drawing out her hand she reached forward silently, hands open. She leaned forward, closer, closer, closer...
