Name: Anemone
Age: child (approx 8 or 9 years)
Brief History: Nothing really special about her upbringing--she lives in a small crevice in the midst of a fairly large group of mermaids who reside not far off the coast.
Brief Personality: Insatiably, indescribably curious about those that live out of the water, Anemone spends a lot of her time hovering just below the surface, watching them as they scurry about. However, she has no real desire to actually interact with them--in fact, if they so much as look in her direction, she takes off, swimming for the depths as fast as her powerful tail can propel her.

Overall, she's very fearful, especially of new things--however, she resents this about herself, which is part of the reason she spends so much time observing the very things that terrify her the most.
Physical Description: Slight of build, she darts through the water--she's a particularly fast swimmer, even for a mermaid. She has long wavy hair that's a dark reddish brown, with bright red highlights. While she usually wears it loose, she does have a few small braids that she randomly puts into it, and that she uses to weave a few pearls into her hair. Her scaley lower-parts are a deep bluish green, with her fins being more blue. For the most part, she dislikes wearing even excessive amounts of jewelry (she still loves her shinies, however)--she doesn't like the drag it creates in the water, and so usually wears very little.
