"We're going to find those cabbages today!" Tock bellowed from the bridge of the ship deck. It wasn't even mid morning yet, and most of the pirates only looked half awake. He didn't care. "Either find them on your own or snatch them from a hut brat, but get me those cabbages! The one that does gets free food for a month!!"
He looked at the pirates still there. "Now get goin' already!" he snapped, his tail flicking behind him like a whip.
((Lost kid, pirate, fairy, I figure all of them are going to be searching at the same time, so why not show it? All are welcome!!))

Sparry stumbled up the stairs from below deck, a half eaten apple in her hand. The sun was already high in the sky, but that tended to happen in Neverland. All she knew was she had only been awake for half an hour.
"Wha' time issit?" she asked Tock as she approached him and continued munching on the apple. She surveyed the beach and the sky as she rubbed sleep out of her eyes. It looked like a good day for a treasure hunt.

"Time to go find the cabbages," Tock said.
"Whoever finds them gets to eat free for a month," Jake added from where he was mending the net they used for fishing. "Cap'n has a sudden urge to find them, so lie, cheat, or steal if you haveta."

Nemesis lurked quietly in the trees at the edge of the beach. It was nice to know that Tock had zest for the task ahead, but she wasn't stupid enough to think that it was just because she'd offered use of her maps. Someone else had to have offered something, and she really did want to know who. Since she was already sneaking around, a little bit more espionage wouldn't hurt. As long as she didn't stretch her abilities, she should be okay. Her feet scuffed in the sand; perhaps some of the pirates would leave while she waited.

One would think that after his last encounter with the Jolly Roger Captain, that Trystan would stay as far from the place as possible. At first that is what he indeed intended to do, but after a while of staying in the hut and refusing to go out, restlessness along with hurt pride, finally got him out again. So now he was right back where he started, in the forest near the Roger. Hopefully his luck would be more on the good side rather than the bad side this time around.
He sighed from his spot in the trees, watching the Roger and its crew. He wanted his stuff back darn it. He sighed again before looking to the sea, wondering how much longer the pirates would take before they left again. That was when his eyes fell on a girl near by, just where the trees met the beach. His brow arched in curiosity, apparently he wasn't the only one out here.
" Hey," he called softly. He wouldn't have been surprised if she didn't hear him.

Tock's yelling was more than enough to send Percy tumbling out of his hammock onto the damp wood. He grumbled drowsily as he overheard the conversation between the boss and Sparry.
What's the big deal with the cap' and his cabbages, he thought, but the promise of a month's worth of free meals was tempting enough to get him off his lazy a**.
Either way, he was awake and he didn't want to spend the rest of the day on the wreck of a ship. He made his was quietly out into the open, "So what can I do for you on this fine day, boss?" He acted as daft as he could, maybe there would be some easier chores he could be assigned to.

"Do whatever the hell you want, Percy," Tock said as he headed for the ladder that hung over the side of the ship. "I won't stop you." He didn't feel like feeding Percy for a month, anyway. The kid was too cowardly for his taste. How the hell did you expect to be a pirate while being a coward?
Jake snorted. "We're looking for cabbages," he said as he put the net down and headed for the rope ladder as well.

"Go away," Nemesis said automatically, barely looking over her shoulder at what she classified as annoyance. "I'm busy." She flipped through her book of maps and waited for the group of pirates to thin a little.

Percy let out a sigh and shrugged, "I guess cabbages it is then."
He went below to get a few of his things, adjusting a newly made eyepatch on his way back up.
"Oh, and it's nice to see you're still your charming self today, boss."

Sparry, who thought she could smell adventure just as surely as she could smell gold, followed Tock down the rope ladder to the beach. Something big was going to happen today, and she was going to help!
"Where do you reckon we should start, Captain?" she asked, digging her toes into the sand. Now, she thought, If I were a cabbage, where would I be?

"Well," Tock said. "It'll take less time if we just stalk the lost brats and steal them from them!" he grinned, showing a few too many teeth as he dropped down on the sand and headed for the jungle. "Or if you're really feeling tough, grab a couple of them and make'em search for you!"
"We're pirates after all!" Jake agreed, pulling out a sharp rock blade and holding it to the sky. "Let's do this right!"
"Or wrong," Tock added evilly.

Right. She strode out of the tree cover, shouldered an anonymous pirate out of her way and tucked her interlocked fingers behind her head. The book of maps was braced against her helm. The newest of her gashes twinged a little, but she didn't flinch. All she wanted to do here was remind Tock that she could be helpful still.

A slight stick-figure of a boy, Dion made his purposeful way past the outskirts of the jungle. His arms were wrapped gingerly around a boxy tangle of sticks and strings that dwarfed his skinny frame. Cabbages weren't on the very top of his priorities today, though he was definitely keeping an eye out for them along the way. He was far more interested in finding good testing grounds for his amateur trap--provided that the trap didn't disintegrate during the journey.
Without a care for any pirate or feien threats, Dion walked at a brisk pace, quietly, carefully picking his way deeper and deeper into the jungle; can't go scaring off the local monkeys and squirrels before seeing his trap in action, after all. But whatever good his quiet, careful movements may have done him in terms of stealth, Dion's bright golden hair still stood out against the pervading green of the surrounding flora--for anyone with color vision, at least.

By the time he finished adjusting his eyepatch, which only served to make his sight worse, he was left alone on the deck.
"Oh, isn't that just nice?"
He made his way to the ladder, tripping and subsequently landing head-first into the sand.
"Wait up, guys!" Percy shouted as he caught up, "so where are we headed?"
It didn't really matter if he knew where they were going or not, he was going to stick to them like glue. It was safer that way.

Tock snorted, ignoring Percy (as he usually did) to continue deeper into the forest. He glanced down as Jake elbowed him in the gut. "She's back," the black boy whispered, nodding his head in the direction of the helmed girl.
Tock sighed. "Sparry," he called to the girl walking with them. "C'mere." Then his eyes caught on the blonde boy with the trap. "Percy, you, too." He wanted to talk to them where the others wouldn't hear.
