Thanks. i'm reading the Silmarillion and i was getting confused. It's to much for me to get all at once, but i'll come back and read it later. cool

anyway,i have a question. ARE WIZARDS IMMORTAL???????? please answer!!!!!!!!!

They are immortal in the same way that Elves are immortal, kind of. They do not age really, but they can be killed.

Maiar (wizards) are Valar sent beings who look after Middle-earth (in a sense). However, some Maiar were evil, such as Sauron, Saruman, and Ungoliant. Others, like Gandalf, Melian, and Radagast, are good.

wow, that was a very interesting post, i learned a lot.

since i am a newcomer to this guikld i apoligize if this is the wrong place to post this question, or if the answer is already posted somewhere else.

Can you reccomend any good books or sites that will explain more about lord of the rings and the mytholigies in it?
