All we know about human vampires is that there source seems to come from the Von Helsons who were apparently once human?
I'm a vampire, but I have no idea about my own history. sad I have been a vampire ever since the halloween event when the Von Helson team bit me.
[edit: this is really old post, I no longer have the vampire skin equipped obviously, lol]

a vampiric drow would be the same as any drow? just paler and undead. and lives off of the blood of the living, which by the way is a taste the drow have already aquired.

Seems to me that Von Helson vampirism only affects pale humans. Oh well (because if you used to be darker skinned, Von Helson vampirism will make you really really pale. razz ).

yeah... iii-_- it made my black almost-girlfriend very angry... who knew she had such pride about that! eek anyway, we both agreed that they should change it so that you would just be a slightly greyer complexion of your starting skin tone, but never actualy petitioned it. sweatdrop

selune dusk yeah... iii-_- it made my black almost-girlfriend very angry... who knew she had such pride about that! eek anyway, we both agreed that they should change it so that you would just be a slightly greyer complexion of your starting skin tone, but never actualy petitioned it. sweatdrop Yeah, either a lighter shade of existing skin tone (which would be a pain for them to code 5 or so all new skin tones), or maybe a better idea would have been to just not change skin tone at all and only change the eyes and mouth. Oh well.

I wish they would have just changed the mouths. The eyes are a bit weird...I would have chosen red or something like that.
Oh and besides! The vampires are an excellent edition to the Underdark. It keeps the mind flayers away. The mind flayers fear the undead because they can't control a dead man's brain. ^^
And whether or not the vampires are day walkers they need not have to fear at returning to the shelter of their homes when daylight breaks the horizon.

i like the vampie eyes... sad they should have made them available at the start of character creation! xd well anyway, maybe if they started allowing people to choose vampire skin at startup with these changes, it would be good.

I'm just mad b/c several of my mules who turned vampire now can't turn BACK... and the vampire skin gets annoying after a while. Clothes don't fit right, and the face is kinda ugly... gonk

Clothes don't fit right, and the face is kinda ugly... gonk You can still change back to human one of two ways. The first way is to visit the old halloween thread (the link escapes me at the moment but can easily be found through searching forums), and the second way, which is just as easy, is to go to "Customize Avatar" and delete your avatar and recreate it. The only thing you will lose by doing this is any hairstyles you might have bought. Otherwise, there is no loss to the account whatsoever.

The eyes are they way they are to show the distortion of the senses and show that they are keener than humans mind flayers are fun to kill there blood doesnt taste good eather same with herion addicts
