"... It's nice and all that you guys wanted to do a bake sale for the college's fundraiser, guys, but... Isn't this a BIT MUCH?" Aaya was in complete shock as he lifted his eyes to the endless rows of tables on each side in the city park with large signs hanging down.

Cirre, still a little Heila, was currently putting a tray of cookies on the table top,
"Hai hai! It's perfect! Heila sweets are popular!"

"Chinese foods good. Made lots!" Xiao-Li came up from behind Aaya, swaying her tail as she kept the carts that she had managed to sucker the young man into renting warm. She had all kinds of dishes on it, from angel hair pasta with veggies to fried pork on a stick.

Even peanut chicken, which, to Aaya, smelled heavenly. He sniffed at the air, sighing out happily,
"Well, you two really did a lot... Oh! So did you, Taeyeoung!"

Tae peeked over a table at Aaya,
"Thanks, bro! But hold off on the congratulations until AFTER we sell all tha stuff," he waved his gloved hand and tying his long hair back once more before helping Cirre carry the larger cakes over onto smaller tables so they could see what was going on. The bake sale was going to be insanely huge, and Aaya was actually starting to worry if they might have made too much.

That was, until he already saw people sniffing and poking around. The diversity in all of the dishes were great! Tae, being named after a favorite story character of Aaya's, actually had more American than Aayatomi did. He had made hamburgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, you name it! He even had the Texican foods, like tacos and everything!

Aaya puffed out his chest a bit with pride as a few customers were already commenting on how well adversed the heilas were in business, not only that, how amazing all of the food was. He wanted some himself, but a lot of it he couldn't eat at the moment, besides, the food was for the school's fundraiser. Though the entire thing should have had some kind of carnival/festival theme.. Maybe some rides, a few games, something. There was just SO MUCH FOOD!

Tae was ontop of a chair behind a burger stand, flipping the patties almost expertly, when one flipped, the spatula flipped another, and another,a nd another. Eventually they were all air born and fell about the same time while he sprayed the grill with a bit of oil. He was more of a healthy baker than the greasy kinds. He had some grease pits for the fries, though. You could only fry good fries, and he would give a lot of fast food places a run for their money.

Tae was grinning. He was proud that at a young age he was already so good at making healthy fast foods. He and Xiao were more Main-course and second course makers while Cirre was the only one of them that made a lot of sweets. Tae didn't mind, he enjoyed frying and baking meats. His hamburgers always had more flavor than the others, and he always made such a show of making them for the customers, too. His arms were short, but he had bottles that could squirt a fair distance to make things easier for him, especially since he liked to draw a lot, and he was always frying up unions or something to put on the burgers.

Xiao-Li, however, was more adept to making a show of her foods. Each pasta and chinese dish had so much roughage in it, she was constantly chopping, frying, and mixing foods. She would fry all of it in a pain, and sometimes would spray something on it, catching all of the food on fire for a split second, then replace the empty container with the food and set it out for customers to purchase.

Her chopsticks never stopped moving, either. She tasted everything she made, only a small bit, tossing one pair into the recycle bin, getting another, and so on and so forth as to not be slapped with a 'cross contamination' lawsuit or worse.

Cirre was constantly making 'no bake cookies', basically peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate, even white chocolate pretzals, both hard and soft baked. The sweets were his forte, though he still couldn't make foreign foods, he was good at cakes, cookies, and basic sweet snacks. He even had a table devoted to sugar free foods so people whom were diabetic, like Aaya, or watching their weight could enjoy them.

Aaya had decided helping him would be best, actually, wrapping up the sandwiches in plastic wrap and placing them out on the table in their appropriate stacks. He watched quietly as customers passed by, commenting, grabbing, purchasing. He found that the heilas each shoo'd him off to work register since they were all busy making the foods.

He pouted as each turned him away, but continued collecting the money for their hard work in the tin to give to the school's board. At this rate, they'd have at least 50 new computers, and enough to start funding for a few buildings such as a cafe or some sort in the new community college center where he went. He grinned brightly,
"That'll be eight dollars and ninety-five cents, please."

(Basically the setting is this. Aaya's Heilas are running a fundraiser for his college. :0 If anyone wants to join, it'll be as a customer or a passerby, but, no automatic jumps behind the tables, please? :,D )

Blaze could small the food from a mile away and when she found the place her little heart on her chest glowed happily. "So much food" She said and slowly walked up to the cashier. "um...How much..um..can I get for this?" She slowly handed him a twenty she had gotten from her owner. Never had she been out on her own or been exposed to so much food. She kept her eyes on a plates of sweets being carried around the place and people walking out with trays of food.

Her little stomach growled as she looked back up at the cashier with innocent eyes.

"Hm?" Aaya heard a voice, but he didn't see a face for it. But a faint pink-ish glow told him otherwise, and he lowered his eyes downward, leaning over the cashier table to spot the owner, "Huh, I went from never having seen a Heila, to seeing one every day... Let's see.. Twenty dollars can get you just about anything you want. All you have to do is ask the Heilas behind the table how much each costs, and they'll tell you. We don't charge tax here, and the least amount on the dollar is fifty cents.."

He pointed toward Xiao,
"She'll make a show of cooking it if you want Chinese noodles," he then pointed at Taeyeoung, whom was shaking the fry vats, tapping them on the edge of the oil bins and turning them over into the heatlamp to separate them later, "If you like slightly healthy junk food, Taeyeoung will make you the best burger or hotdog you could ask for."

And last came Cirre, whom was still setting out the cookies and things, making sure everything still had the plastic wrapped around them to keep them fresh and free of germs or contamination,
"He's in charge of the sweets. His cookies are about a buck fifty while the cake slices are two dollars. The rest is under a dollar, just ask him and he'll tell you."

Blaze understood, kinda. Her math wasn't all that good. "Thanks sir" She said and walked over to the girl helia that cooked the chinese food. "Can I have some nunals?" To her that was the right way to say it. The small heart on her on heart on her chest dimmed down as she tugged the helia's skirt lightly "I hope I'm purdy like you when I grow up" It was random but the helia was so pretty. "How much can I get for this?" She said and handed her the twenty.

"What?" Xiao-Li felt a tug on her skirt, at first thinking it to be Cirre, she grinned and pretended to ignore it, though hearing the voice was another matter. She lowered her eyes and spotted the little Heila, holding up the twenty dollar bill and telling her she was pretty.

"Free dumpling for that," Xiao commented, reaching down and giving her a poke in the nose with her chopsticks. She lifted the twenty, and examined her dishes. For a full platter, it was eight dollars, so, "Twenty dollars gets two full platters with four left ova."

Her platters consisted of fried rice, angel hair noodles, lo mein, barbeque on a stick, you name it, every dish she served was on the platter, after all. She picked up one of the boxes, much like a japanese lunch box though fairly larger. It would most likely knock her over with the large size. She chuckled,
"See if too much. Get for owner, too, or just Heila?"
PostPosted: Thu Feb 21, 2008 10:50 am

Blaze giggled at the poke and smiled "I want one plate of nunals ma'am" She said looked at the menu. She realized she couldn't read so she just looked at some of the dishes other carried but found none of them tasty lookin'. "My owner said to come here. She is busy and gave me that money. I was hungry and smelled food so I came and got lost alittle but I got here fine ma'am. People are so nice. Do you cook here all the time ma'am?" She said and held her tail. From the corner of her eye she watched the colorful helia with all the sweets...but still found it hard to go over there and order something like she wanted.

"Noo. I charge special for fundraiser for Aaya-nii-san. Helps school get better things," Xiao-Li watched the younger Heila eye Cirre, then let out a shrill whistle between her fingers.

Cirre lifted his head up suddenly, blinking a few times in surprise at the sound, though seeing Xiao-Li he waved, curious of the other Heila.

He didn't come closer, though, merely putting out the rest of the sweets where they belonged and cleaning up the mess he made from making new cookie-dough balls..

Xiao-Li then turned to face the younger Heila,
"It 'noodles'. Noo-duls. Kay?"

She gave her a large plate of what she wished for, a few dumplings and sauce on the side, then handed the box to her,
"Box easier use. Aaya-nii-san suggest it!"

She lifted her eyes, turning to watch Aaya with a small sigh, going back to her work shortly after as though nothing had happened.

The small heart on Blaze's chest dimmed again when Cirre looked over. She grabbed the box and looked up at Xiao "Thanks ma'am. Have a nice day" She said and hesitated to walk over there to Cirre. After a while she got over herself and walked up to him "C-Can I get a cookie?" She handed him the money and looked at the floor. The smell of the food in the box made her stomach growl. Still she had to get something to drink and maybe the tiger looking Helia can help her with that, but it's a step by step process for her.

"Huh?" Cirre looked up from making a few more peanut butter balls and spotted Blaze as she spoke to him.

He looked down at the money she had and smiled faintly, shaking his head,
"You pay Nii-kun in front. We just give you the food. What kind of cookie do you want? I have all kinds!"

He walked along the line of the back-end of the table toward the one that held all of his cookies that he'd been making the past few days. All in which still were hot and ooey-gooey good as though straight out of the oven instead of hard and course like most.

He waved an arm over the tray, careful not to get his armwarmer caught on anything as he waited for her to choose. The cookies were only a dollar a piece, so she had free reign with what was left of her money to to get several kinds.

Blaze nodded and now understand that she paid to the guy who told her where to go. She looked at the tray and thought about which one should she take but she didn't want just one. "I want this one" She pointed to the chocolate cookie....then the peanut butter and m&m cookie "I will take those two too" She said and giggled...still not looking at him. The heart on her chest brighten as she took a deep breath in, smelling the sweets that were baking.

"Just grab what you want! ♥" Cirre found himself proud that his baked goods were selling so fast! He was constantly having to try and restock.

He even contemplated working with Dami in the bakery while Aaya was at school. He didn't like how the other students would pinch his cheek or poke and prod at him. He wriggled a bit, and turned his eyes over toward Tae.

Tae seemed in a chipper mood, too. He was happily flipping burgers, turning hotdogs, putting them into buns etc. He was working a mile a minute! And so was Xiao-Li.

He puffed up with pride, watching Aaya taking money, handing back change, or actually keeping some as a tip for such good food or cute helpers etc. He even got a phone number or two!

Sadly the girls weren't very pretty. Cirre made a slight face. It was always the weird people that tried to hit on his Nii-kun and he didn't like it! Nii-kun was his nii-kun! They shouldn't be so mean to him! Pretty people should want to be with his Nii-Kun!

He then decided, at complete random, that he would, in fact, find a girl for his Nii-kun! Yes! A pretty one! Who wore glasses! And maybe had a Heila, too! Oh that would be cool! He could help him when one of the others got sick or something!

He instantly started beaming, mulling over his thoughts and watching Blaze pick one after another cookie.

Blaze took the cookies and smiled "Umm..thanks. I'm Blaze...what is your name?" She know found it heard not to talk to him that he was so cute. The little heard on her chest reformed it's glow and she smiled brightly.

Shera came into the collage and walked up to the cashier "Have you seen a Helia...I give her money and she is no where to be found. She has white hair like mine and maybe is no more then a few feet tall. Umm..oh and the heart on her chest glows sometimes. I give her money and she is no where to be found for miles"She said and looked around the place, not seeing her in the front part but really only scanned the area "Please tell me she is here. I just got her and I don't know here she went" She clearly was worried for one of two reasons. She lived two or three miles a way and Blaze was only supposed to go around the corner. Shera still didn't know Blaze that much due to the fact she is so busy. In her worry and frantic searching she hadn't taken the time to stop and calming look.....anything could have happened to Blaze, she is so baby like and can trust just about anyone before knowing them.

"H-Huh?" Aaya blinked a few times at the woman who started suddenly going a mile a minute about a Heila.

He let her continue with her speech, waiting for her to finish before speaking himself out of a bit of common courtesy,
"She's over there."

His hand rose, and index finger pointed toward the Heila as she spoke to Cirre. Though Cirre didn't seem to catch on to the fact she actually somewhat liked him. No, his mind was elsewhere and he spoke almost mechanically,
"Cirre. My name's Cirre."

He saw the frantic woman at the cash registered and shook his head. Nope, too everywhere. Though, his eyes wandered around outside of the bake sale area. He saw pretty girls jogging down the sidewalk, or with other girls talking, though most had someone else.

He frowned slightly, knowing that must hurt poor Aaya to always be alone. He nodded to himself, then squeaked when a few more customers came up, asking about the sugar free treats. He began explaining them to the couples, though he realized a whiel after that they know what they were, they just wanted to see him talk about it. He flushed, huffing a bit.
"You guys are teasing me!"

A laugh errupted from the small group, though, now there were groups at each table, watching the 'masters' at work.

Xiao-Li looked up in time to see Dami approaching. She almost dropped everything to go tackle the man, but instead kept to work, letting him approach her this time.

But no, his fist stop was with Aaya. He blinked a few times at the woman as she spoke about her Heila. She gave it money and sent it out? That's like asking a four year old to go get some milk at the store!

Well, Aaya had it under control, and far be it from him to judge. Instead, he walked around her, "Oiy, Aayatomi~"

"Ohayo, Dami. Genki desu ka?" Aaya threw at him, knowing full well that Dami didn't speak Japenese. Instead, he got a weird look in response and he laughed, "How are you?"

"I'm good! You've got quite a crowd here today! I'll bet all the materials for this stuff cost a fortune!" Dami stood in awe at all the tables that were constantly being filled with goodies and sweets. Aaya sighed, merely nodding his response.

Shera smiled and walked over to Blaze before she could say anything else to Cirre "Honey...I gave you the list and..."She said expecting her to finish the statement "And wait by the car" Blaze said "Now..I told you we would go the the store with the list. I gave you the list when I started walking out the house..I go in to answer the phone and you are gone."Shera sighed heavily "I see you have gotten food and a few cookie. Now..you can have that but next time wait for me. I didn't give you the money to go ahead...I said what?"Blaze was getting embarrested that this was going on in front of Cirre "Here you go..I have to go take this call." She quoted."I love you Blaze..but please don't scare me like that"Shera said and hugged her. "I wont...I'm sorry Shera.." After their moment of hugging Shera let go of Blaze and lightly petted her on the head " Now we can eat here and go shopping later. I don't mind. I heard about this event but usually they all go to hell when they start cooking"

Blaze laugh and handed her the box of noodles "I got..nu..noodles" She said correctly and did so very proudly of herself. "I see you corrected yourself. Good job" Shera was no longer a frantic mess now she was back to normal. "What is around here?"Shera said and looked at all the stations.

Blaze giggled "The pretty lady over there is the one that gave me the noodles. the..um...That one with the tiger ears has hamburgers and stuff and Cirre makes the sweets" She spoke Cirre's name lightly and the heart on her chest dimmed slightly.

"Ah ! Cirre, j'aime votre nom!"Shera giggled as she stood back up. She didn't know if the little guy knew French or not.

“Yeah, we've been getting a LOT lately! I'm so glad she let me borrow Tae for a while.. He's a hit with the kids and cat lovers!” Aaya laughed with Dami near the cash register, ushering the younger male behind the table to stay out of the way while he continued taking money and rounding up cash for everyone.

Cirre had long since stopped paying attention to Shera and Blaze's conversation, seeing as it was a private matter, he just went about his business as to not embarrass either of them. He handed out foods here and there, glad to be able to do what he could for each person.

The customers were all crowding around each stand as though they'd never seen a body cook before. Xiao-Li didn't complain, she was loving the attention. She just kept doing what she had to, putting this there, frying that, chopping these up, etc. She knew what she was doing and what she should do for each dish without even really having to watch her hands as they flew across the small frying area and each box that she filled with each item.

Tae, too, was having fun. He'd flip spatulas, flick his tail at the kids and tease the little babies with his tail tip. He even got a bit of loving and petting from some of the customers, which elicited deep purrs from deep in his throat. He wagged his tail happily, as though some kind of puppy, getting each piece done, serving the cooled drinks such as lemonade, pop, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, there were a large array of different drinks one could chose from, both hot AND cold.

Cirre, once again, turned his attention to Blaze once his name was mentioned, and then French..? He had a hard enough time speaking English, much less French. He offered a small sheepish smile,
“I-I don’t know what you just said, ma’am… B-but uhm… Thank you?”
