wish792 I can't believe there isn't a Fruit Basket thread yet! Well, I made one now! xd The Sohma's are pretty funny and adorable, all I can't say is... Tohru's one lucky girl to be living with them! mrgreen
HI DANNY! Yey, thanks for posting.
I recently started watching Fruits Basket. A friend of mine randomly bought me the first volume on DVD a few years ago for Christmas with the knowledge that I'm a huge anime fanatic. Before receiving the DVD, I only very vaguely followed the storyline due to a good friend of mine being a HUGEEEEE Furuba fan.
I initially watched the whole first volume like a year or so, and watched the first three episodes again a few months ago with my wifey.
I think the series has a really good overall light-hearted vibe to it. It's fun. I'm not far, but I really like it.
But in response to your post, yeah I love the dynamics between the Sohmas'. It's awesome that there's a huge mixture of so many different personalities. I love series that have a bunch of different interacting characters, and Fruits Basket is one of them that does a really good job maintaining it.
Although, I can't say myself I'd like to live with them exactly xD
